After having mine on for a few months I would say the only downside ive seen is how much carbon buildup is on the tip of the exhaust. I think the only improvement I would do is go black with the tip.
I know my on my 15, my heated seats do turn on during the remote start. No lights are on the climate stack however the seats are soft and warm vs being stiff and cold. Its my first winter with it so I will keep an eye on when it comes on. My remote start is just set to auto for pretty much all...
@Linksvu
Yes I did the readylift spacers. Turned out pretty good. Didn't see the 3/2 height improvement more like 2, 1.5, but it looks noticeably higher and is basically what I wanted. There are a ton of 18+ w/ CCD lifted as @Miekk posted above, but for the 15-17s I really didnt see many if...
@762mm
Yea in this case I would agree. I do like the convenience of it, however its mediocre at best from all of the power lift gates ive used. I am fairly certain its the power actuator that is limiting its travel but honestly haven't dug into it too much.
I also find it humorous that the...
I do. I made new links for the front and rear. Right now they are at 3.25" front and 4.25" rear, factory was 4" for both. Im really surprised how easy it was even with the added step of making my own new links. There was a lot of misinformation on here coupled with lack of information that made...
@jeff kushner
because im tall and I hate hitting my head on it. Even after lifting it I still hit it, maybe after I add another inch from tires Ill be good but thought id ask. It would be nice to adjust, or add aftermarket gas shocks or mod the power opening arm to over stroke it an inch or...
Ill answer my own question. They are liftable and its super easy. Same as std suspension but you need to flip rear shocks to the opposite sides due to the CCD module and cable length since the spacer flips the shock 180. The links in the front go from 4" stock to 3.25" and the rears go from 4"...
Finally got around to doing the 3/2 lift on her. Also did the muffler mod so that it is back to a side dump rather than straight out the rear. All in all it went smooth. Since it has CCD I had to make new links (3.25" front and 4.25" rears). She rides smooth and looks much better. Now just need...
Thanks for the info @Dr0idattack and @KCAutosound. Did you guys do just the rear or did you do all 4?
Yea I do need to get a WDH. It pulls my boat just fine but when I rented a bigger tractor for some over seeding it completely dropped the rear.
Config is up for the 2020 KR on Fords site and it appears its only avail with captains for the second row. Also doesnt have the upgraded engine like in the Plati. Anyone see anything that would say otherwise?
