Tire Chains
I have to add that the best of all worlds is chains on all 4 wheels, based on some careful testing done years ago by a guy who lives in snow country.- Oldwhatshisname

Tire Chains
I would put the chains on the rear wheels and consider running in 2wd based on what feels best. I had a time when I had to put my only set of chains on the front wheels (couldn't access the rear) and drove in 4wd. NEVER AGAIN! The rear end kept going sideways and trying to pass the front...- Oldwhatshisname
