I'm going to say no. These are a replacement to the rust-prone stock control arms. Although the lower control arms are more prone to rust because of their location than the upper control arms, I would say it's still not a bad idea to replace your uppers. But again back to your question you don't...
I purchased the control arms off Ebay. They are good for 97-02 Expeditions. These are the ones I have:

For Sale Rear Upper Control Arms
Hey guys,
So now with the Expedition gone i'm looking to sell these rear upper control arms. Never got around to installing them. $100 shipped to the lower 48.
Selling the Expy. traded in our Corolla for a Grand Caravan :bawl: Now need to sell the Expy to have a gas friendly car in our garage. Here's the link to my post on Craigslist:
EDIT: Sold
I'm currently on the level 2 towing and I firmed up all the shifts by 15%. I haven't advanced the timing. I have seen a good improvement with mpg. Some of that is the tune, some of that is the change in driving habit now that I can see my mpg.
I would agree with the power steering pump. Not on my Expy but I had an Explorer with similiar symptoms. When I popped my hood and turned the wheel I could hear where it was coming from.
Thanks mrford. I picked the bumper up last night and it has that dip in the middle like my 2000. The guy had a F150 where the grille is straight across and he said he grabbed the wrong bumper, that the F150 eddie bauers were different. I don't know, I just know it looks like it will fit heh...
Thanks Tony. I'm finding a lot of stuff about it on F150 forums about the bumpers. Thing that is throwing me off some is the pictures I see tagged as 97-98 F150 bumpers go straight across at the top of the bumper while some have the grille dipping down and so the bumper dips down in the middle...
I know the designs were different in the late 90 years but can a bumper off a 97-98 F150 fit on an Expedition? If not, can it be made to fit without a bunch of modification? Thanks.
Yeah it's taking me a little while to get around to get the wheels on. Some places don't like to put tires you didn't buy from em on a vehicle and others are busy. I would do it myself but I fractured my right elbow and it hurts to hold a can of soda atm.
