There is no more to drain out. I have the truck parked facing up hill with the drain plugs down towards the back.
Only one quart came out.
It calls for Mercon LV, same as the transmission. That should be red.
I have literally only put 600 miles on the truck since it was serviced.
Is there a temperature sensor for the transfer case? How hot should the transfer case be getting?
Had the transfer case rear (driveshaft) seal replaced and transfer case fluid changed in January a couple hundred miles ago. This was done by a reputable shop.
I needed to move a trailer out of a...
I'm planning on changing the transmission fluid on my 2012 Ford Expedition, equipped with a 6R80 transmission.
I have a few additional parts I'd like to install while I'm doing the change, so I have the following sitting on my dining room table (much to the detest of my wife.):

2012 Expedition...What's the torque value for the big f-off size bolts that hold the steering rack in?

I have a paid copy of ForScan. I've been exploring some options in the Smart Junction Box programming
One such option allows me to select rear tail light options.
My choices are:
0 - Bulb Outage OFF
3 - Stop and turn signals use same bulb
12 - Stop and turn signals use separate bulbs
I know...
My 2012 Expedition EL needs some REAL steel or aluminum bumpers, not the plastic crap that's on there now.
My previous truck hit multiple deer at highway speeds and I have been rear ended more than three or four times within a year in stop and go traffic. Never hurt the stock steel bumpers on...
It's called technology.
You have a landline? Or are you still sending messages by carrier pigeon and pony express?
Look at the V8s of yesteryear. 2bbl carburetor Fairlane/Meteor 221 cubic inch V8 makes 145 HP.
That's getting on Honda Civic territory.
As technology improves, we can get more...
