98 Expedition kills alternators as soon as they are installed
I'm having the same exact problem I'm having the same exact problem with my '98 / 4.6. Were you able to fix the problem? If you did, please let me know what it was. I'm about to do the "Curly shuffle" on the stupid thing.- PocolocoBob

1999 expedition- Total loss of power when I turn the key.
1999 expedition- I turn my ignition then all power goes out in the truck. I have to disconnect the battery to reset it. I sometimes can avoid the problem if I firmly push the gearshift into park prior to turning the key. Anybody have any ideas? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk- PocolocoBob

Steering column gear shift
I'm a knucklehead, I just posted my reply then wanted to see what the exclamation point icon was for. I think I just reported myself for an innappropriate post. LOL. Anyway, I tightened the two cable bolts. They were loose but I don't think they were the problem. I don't think it's the brake...- PocolocoBob

Steering column gear shift
I have a 99 XLT, the gear shift on the steering column seems to be disconnected. Does anybody know what I can do myself? I can't shift at all right now.- PocolocoBob
