I filled out the form, too. Not a necessity for me, would be a nice to have. But no they haven't responded to me so I'm guessing he hasn't heard anything either..
Same tire and size that I got. Got nearly 6k on em. I love mine. Rain, gravel, and normal pavement so far, and they do them all perfectly fine (rain has been especially surprising compared to other all terrains I've used on past suburban and trucks).
Something wrong with your transmission causes that.
All of the obvious smartass comments aside, there really are any number of things, and none of them would I consider ignoring just because temps have been fine since. Take it to get it looked at, or at the VERY LEAST, get the fluid and filter...
Curious as to why? What makes this better than your FX4 that's only 3 years old? And I'm not being a smartass, I'm truly curious.
I'm not in the market myself, having just recently purchased my own FX4, but if there's value to be had form this vs what I've got that I've added my own AT...
Definitely an expectation management thread, here. Since "overlanding" and "rough trails" are in the discussion, I'd suggest something different than the Expedition. While this thing is quite capable at all the things Fozzy mentioned, it's not in the same class as the raptor, 4 runner, etc for...
Those kumhos are quite decent AT tires, very road friendly and do fine off pavement.
Though after reading Deadman's post, I do find the optics of this a bit funny.
I used to buy whatever was available that pumped air. After them not working at the most convenient times (sarcasm), I tried a viair 84 (with the battery clamps) around 4 years ago. Was quite happy with it. My father pulled rank and acquired it from me. Got another (cig plug), wound up...
I reckon I'll just be wrong and dumb according to Calidad. I typically have 5 people, 4, or just me in my expy. The 5th person gets the 3rd row bench to themselves. With a 2nd row split bench, they wouldn't have the same legroom in the 3rd row, or the personal space in the second if they were...
Napkins from the last fast food stop. Always nice to have an extra when you need it. Also some beef jerky or a pack of plastic worms and hooks in case an opportunity to go fishing presents itself (yes, I keep a short 2 piece fishing rod in the storage by the spare tire tools).
Another option might be a good interior shop to re-cover what you have, and they can swap the cushioning and shape of the base and/or back. Might be cheaper, or not, but would be more custom than going with plat seats.
If you want to consider the Primacy an AT tire. lol It was fine on the highway, didn't much like the sandy dirt I got into at the camp a couple weekends ago.
Ordered new tires the moment I received my expy, just hadn't got them done by that trip. They're on now (285/65r18 General Grabber...
The problems will revolve very negatively around insurance coverage when an accident of any kind occurs. It's rated specifically for what it is. That simple. Just because it has the power doesn't mean the electronics or transmissions aren't tuned for the max being 6k, or some bracket is in a...
