03 Expy Beach Wagon saga 4x4 inoperative
We have an 03 that has served us well as a long distance hauler for all sorts of trips. It only has 130k but the undercarriage is very rusty and we now only use it to drive on the beach in the sand to and from our cottage about 5 miles round trip. 2003 Exp Steering knock over bumps
got new rack.. Got my new rack from partsgeek and installled last night.. Have to finish job and test drive - still left to do is to put on tie rod ends.. This job was not too bad just be sure to make some room to operate - -move radiator hose -remove all intake plastic like air cleaner...- sdoherty

Hello All, Still have the noise so I took the big step of removing my steering rack - big job! SO anyway with the rack out I turned the shaft on the rack with a vice-grips and it seems smooth. It is actually coming from inside the steering gear connection to the rod Here is where he noise is coming from - does the rubber cover come off the steering gear rack to provide some adjustment?- sdoherty

2003 Exp Steering knock over bumps
Hello All, I have no problems with the operation of the steering but I do hear a clunk when I hit bumps.
