yep, get a 2010 sequoia suv, or something like that, driving it like you stole it, then trade it in in a year for what you really want.
Old toyotas do not die.
it would not be impossible to extend the length of the garage! either a bump out on the front side of the car, or move the garage doors out a foot or two on the tail end of the car. Moving the doors would be mostly trim work, and you could re-use the existing garage doors.
make sure the entertainment things you want to use are available in the 2019. Things like Apple Carplay, etc., may not be supported in 2019, or might need some sort of software update for $.
i have always wondered if you attached a small spoiler that deflected the wind up at the back end of the expedition, if the MPG towing would go way up! There have to be some awesome (as in bad) turbulence created between the SUV and the trailer front.
anyone ever see anything on such an accessory?
no kidding! at the least, the antilock brakes will flip out on turns.
at worst, you will be grinding gears!
i would make sure the spare is indeed the same size as the four other tires on the car. you might get away with a cheap steel wheel....
i have the exact same problem. my dog is getting to old to jump up onto the back seat. so i bought a two step plastic thing for her to walk up.
she refused to use it. i had to throw it away.
take her to a doggie store that has them, and see if your odog will use it
