    I have a 2011 5.4 3v that’s approaching 180k miles with no indication that it needs a timing job either. I followed FordTechMakuloco‘s advice and switched to 5w 30 full synthetic at about the 90k mileage mark

    Yeah it’s been a great vehicle so far. It rides super smooth and very little road noise on the highway. I’m hoping to get at least 250K out of mine.

    Yeah I was hoping to go a little more on them but it might be something to consider. But at the same time like I said it runs great. Idles smooth and acceleration hasn’t changed at all so I’m not sure

    I’m still on the factory MAF sensor as far as I know. I clean it every other oil change but maybe I should replace it. Thanks for the suggestion

    Replacement struts

    Another vote for Bilstein. I replaced all 4 factory struts with Bilsteins 77,000 miles ago and they still ride like the day I installed them.

    2010 - 2014 5.4 cam phaser parts et al end of life?

    2011 with 162k miles with original parts and no noise. Purchased at 89k and use 5w30 full synthetic at 3,500 intervals ever since. Original owner did 5k oil change intervals and was using motorcraft 5w20 blend.

    What benefit are you trying to get by deleting your muffler? It will make your Expy obnoxiously loud and probably throw codes too.
