Snapped half the mounting tab off the running boards this weekend. Not a lot of wheel travel or clearance on these big luxo yachts. Set it on the ground a couple times going over ledges this weekend.
The top trim won out for me.
I really like the soft touch on the door panels. The leather is way nicer which you say isn’t a plus for you but it is really not comparable to the limited leather
the noise cancelling is great. Mine is super quiet especially for how big they are
I never thought...
I’ll be talking to the dealership tomorrow. Really want to know what warranty issues I’ll have if I start doing stuff. So tuff when I have 80k of bumper to bumper left
ill be doing all gen two 2019 stuff. fox live valve shocks. hoping to find a way to bridge the connector difference if the rpg doesn't work. otherwise they just go in unplugged at the highest stiffness. im pretty sure there will be an aftermarket adjuster pretty soon. the delete is already there...
i was sort of relying on that as a solution when i get into my raptorization. just got mine back from the body shop. had to get a new bumper thanks to the tire shop tech backing into it. ive got a stock bumper to use to template a steel offload bumper now. need something to knock the deer down...
what did you end up doing with the rpg box? did you pull it? if you can't return it or don't want it id be interested to plug it into an expi and find out
agreed. love the expi. hate the suspension. that being said i just spent two weeks in the top of line armada. not even comparable how much better the expi is in all areas. id be curious how a long term review would pan out. I've always loved the LS im surprised you found it lazy. might be...
there's a guy in phoenix with the icon kit. I've seen it in parking lots but never met the owner. it looks good. i ran icons on my tacoma and was satisfied with them. icon tests their vehicle specific kits pretty well before rolling them out. depending price of what you want to do there are a...
id just tell them you're not interested in the coolant or oil change at the time of service. I'm pretty sure they'd have to do it anyway as the tear down to replace those parts would probably necessitate it. cant imagine they're gonna leave the oil in it and try to tie the coolant hose up to...
glad to see this is a universal problem. i started only taking my key in the garage when im actually gonna drive. if its in my pocket ill walk by and it will open but unless i actually kick the spare it won't do it it when i want. i find touching the spare with my toe is the only semi reliable...
this kit is cool but 5400 without shocks. the fox 3.0s are almost the same price i think. that's 10k total not to mention body mods. even stock raptor stuff i might need to bump stop to keep it out of the front fender. im not ready to breakout the sawzall and cut the fenders yet. but in a few...
yep... too wide too much travel. have to go raptor front clip or really cut fenders would be my guess. also i don't want to go to uniballs or other offroad parts. i like the idea of a factory engineered system designed for long life and good ride. lets face it... this expedition is never trying...
