    Check battery voltage. If it's under 12.6v, put it on a trickle charger overnight and try again. Funky behavior in those systems is frequently a sign of battery problems. Seems like mine was doing oddball stuff when it was down around 12.45v before I changed the battery last time.

    $150 + $56 installation (for them programming it via FDRS) + 8.25% tax is about $220. You can see some snap tabs under the edges of it in one of the pictures I saw. I wonder if you can replace the battery as long as you can get it apart without destroying it.

    The real question is whether the new valve body has better pistons and separator plate, or will the problem come back in the future. Kinda surprised this is still happening on 2024 models. I thought they said they "fixed" all that after mid-2023ish.

    I have two different tire gauges here (one analog similar to the one in your picture, another one of the palm-size digital Rhino gauges) and as long as I drive it a few miles and let the TPMS settle, they all three agree within 1psi. I'd suspect your gauge.
