You might have a great point there about the cold air\hot air off the engine. Its the same idea that I used on my old firebird with the open air cleaner (4 brrl carb system). ice wax?
I havent tried Ice wax, but it sounds like I might have to try some.. I love the malco products (the choice of the car detailers around here). I have used them for years on my show truck. I dont know how long the wax last since I would wash(which has wax in it) and wax my trucks every weekend...- Xpathfinder

What a week
I'll let you know after I have had it for awhile.. my pathfinder wasnt too bad but I didnt do a lot of off road. mainly in my driveway during the winter and a few times down at our family farm... lol- Xpathfinder

As I was going to work on Tuesday, I hit my brakes thought they were a little soft. I got to work and didnt worry about it until I got ready to leave so I checked the fluid level and it was completely empty.. I found that I had blown my Rear brake line. Heres my ride
Here is my 97 EB. Still bone stock and dirty from the ride home.. Cant want to start, making her mine. started with stereo, testing the stock amp to see if it can handle my kickers. Have to wait until I get the 3rd row seat. then i can design a new box to fit under the seat... Here...- Xpathfinder

I cant hide them anymore....
Love those lights... I was looking at those on ebay and thinking about getting me a set also! Would love to have one of those hood also. Have a Fiberglass one my Xtreme for 8 years and love it.. Anyway great addition and I cant wait to some for myself.- Xpathfinder

stock amp wattage on 97 EB
Well I braved the cold long enough to deinstall the sub and amp box of the old Pathy and connect one 8 to the stock amp.. it sounded ok. Just not loud enough for me. my little xtreme has 4 12s right behind the seat and it rattles your teeth and eyeballs. I will barring any problems Tomorrow, I...- Xpathfinder

lol... I do have a cutoff wheel at home and a compressor to run that cutoff wheel.. dont tempt me... Does anyone know what the wattage output that the stock amp going to the sub on my 97 Eddie B? and is there one for the front and rear door speakers? if so where is it located at? Just wondering if it will be enough to power my two Kicker 8" comps. if not I guess I can wire in my old R\F punch...- Xpathfinder

what brands of oil ???
Being my 1st Ford that I own, I was hoping to get a feel for what was the "best" oil was to use in it. I guess it a toss up between mobil1 and castrol. But I might just stick with pennzoil. Had great luck with it in all my chevy trucks along with my pathy. 150,000 on every chevy 1985 and 1989...- Xpathfinder
