This is all some good info, I plan to change my plugs soon and it is good to know how much the dealer was saying. I know how difficult this job can be. Still a newbie here, but have had luck on past projects, with help from here. Weird Battery Drain
So I went to my local pick your parts yard and found and expy with a brand new(looked cleaner/newer than the one I just bought from advance), I pulled it and the whole alternator cable(along with the voltage regulator cable). I replaced both in my expy and everything has been running perfectly...- Zitril

I did the voltage drop test, both positive and ground. the ground from the engine to chassis was at 0.28v, all the other points were about 0.1v, if I remember correctly. I still took off and cleaned all the grounds that I could find, wire wheeling them. Still no fix. So tomorrow I will replace...- Zitril

I will do the voltage drop test, I wasnt sure if you were referring to that version or where you measure the millivoltage drop across each fuse and use charts to figure out the amp draw. Do you feel 14.6v is high for an alternator to put out? Also I managed to catch the voltage spikes on my...- Zitril

I did check that and the rear wiper is free moving and does appear to return to proper park location. I will still re-double check the main grounds. That was a thought I had but I have not found any chewed wires or anything at all chewed. This car confuses me so much. If anyone knows a good old...- Zitril

I have never had it not start even when the voltage got down to 11.8 volts, though it has caused the whole electric system to restart (the radio/cd player to go through reset). So yeah it is very confusing.- Zitril

I would also like to add the battery voltage meter only goes all the way to high about half the time, and when I have measured the voltage it is charging at 14.6v then after a while drops to 14.2v.- Zitril
