I have a 2007 Expedition 4x4 that has been in for repair for a year and a half. There is a laundry list of new parts: Plugs, coil packs , fuel injectors, computer ........etc. almost everything is new. Does anyone know a "GOOD" ford repair place in mid Michigan? Hopefully someone who will not exceed the value of the vehicle with the repair bill? Thanks, Randy

Welcome to the site.

No to knowing someone up there but we have a few "knuckle busters" on the site that can help you fix it yourself if you are willing to give it a shot.

I'll start off - the engine needs 3 things to run. Air, fuel and spark. Take any one away and your toast. So which one is missing?

Air:
Make sure the intake track isn't blocked, air filter isn't clogged

Fuel:
Need at least 35 psi on the fuel rail with engine off key on, will show on pressure gauge for @2 secs when key is first turned to run. Can cycle the switch to build up pressure if needed.

Spark:
Theft light should have a slow flash, rapid is bad
Pull one plug, lay threads on block and have a helper crank it, will see a small spark if it fires.
