How many catalytic convertors
Did all of the 5.4's come with four or was there some that had 2? I keep reading all these people talking about four kitties and I could only find two under mine. Just picked mine up 2 weeks ago so I'm figuring out what I'm working with as far as stock vs aftermarket goes. Thanks, Nick Edit...- blkhwkmech89

2nd problem tonight - Low RPM shudder/vibration
Update #2 this morning: Pulled the electrical connector for the #2 COP, cleaned it, reconnected it, and now she's running like a top. I guess when I had them out last night, it didn't get a solid connection. Crazy how much better it runs when it has all 8 cylinders. I'll start working those ABS...- blkhwkmech89

2nd problem tonight - Low RPM shudder/vibration
I'll clean the MAF sensor, that's pretty easy. I haven't done plugs yet but it's on my list. And it was just the boots and not the COP's. This morning it threw a list of codes at me. 2nd problem tonight - Low RPM shudder/vibration
99 with the 5.4L. Original problem was a misfire following playing in the mud. Found decayed old coil boots and replaced them with new ones and added some dielectric grease. Misfire goes away. P0301, Now no code, still misfiring
Fixed the problem. Replaced coil boots and stuffed some dielectric grease in there. I think it started to go away on its own as the water evaporated but now I have boots that won't let water in to begin with. Thanks.- blkhwkmech89
