Need input before I change my transmission fluid.
I know there is plenty of discussions on this topic but I need a few questions answered first. My '99 5.4 Expy has roughly 156k miles. Half of which were driven by the previous owner and half by me. I have never changed the fluid and I have to assume that the previous owner did not either...- andrewj

Hey guys, My CEL came on several days ago so I took it to PepBoys to have them pull the codes. I got following codes: P0171, P0174, P0156. I know that P0156 code means O2 sensor malfunction (Bank 2, Sensor 2). I read, however, that I should address the other codes before replacing the...- andrewj

Grinding and and clunk when coming to a stop.
Recently I have been feeling grinding/friction and a clunk just before coming to a stop in my '99 5.4L 4x4 Expy. My neighbor said it may be transmission related and might be time to change the transmission fluid. Another friend vaguely mentioned greasing a joint..? Do any of these symptoms...- andrewj
