Ok so my fuzzy black interior seat back material as expected needs some kind of simple canvas cover? Anyone come across something thats easy to install and remove to clean? This is for the back of the 2nd row and maybe 3rd row. I have mats that work great but the seat backs when up just collect...
I switched to IPhone no issues other than pocket lint getting packed into the phone socket and causing usb connectivity issues.
As one friend put it only one phone maker is considered secure the rest are just hackers toys.. Yeah he’s in cyber security biz. No apps, just base OS is his thing.
Many modern cars dont do well with spacers and have odd vibrations when used also. Seems like a cheap bandaid to force a change that isn’t really part of the design plan.
The cooled seats were a must after getting them in our 2016 Fusion Energi
Cooled seats should just be standard in all trucks especially work trim trucks lol
I haven’t driven our 2019 much due to Pandemic and a Buck that liked the grill a little too much at 890miles... That was a 6 week shop...
I do think many of the glass roof vehicles have two common failures expansion vs hard edge ie frame causing breakage poorly lined up in the frame during install. And being hit by debri.
I would likely file a insurance claim in this case much like if my car suffered road debri damage I’d file a...
I haven’t used it much either but during a wild fire evacuation/ scramble to get a 99yr old family member I discovered, I could manage multiple callers, and sources of incoming info while hustling/driving in poor conditions. For sure changed my mind on the voice control stuff. It does take some...
You do realize this is industry standard with all modern platforms right? Well except for Toyota they are still lagging.
Brake vectoring technology is very simple and cheap to have on all modern ABS vehicles. The Acura is not special today its simply just average
4x4 or 4A is plenty it’s basically the sane as your Acura though I do believe Ford has given it far more logic than the hands off basic FWD biased Acura system. If anything you’ll likely find it better than the Acura.
ESLD vs just basic 4H is just more complex technology in the axle. Your Honda is a clutch / friction driven system paired with the ABS the simplest way to think of it is the car uses the brakes at each wheel to prevent excessive wheel spin. That spinning wheel gets braked and when that occurs...
Its pretty flexible and can get dragged without damaging stuff. I haven’t bothered. If I start having problems with it dragging I’ll likely remove it. But so far its been a non issue
2019 Platinum I had some wind noise at first stiff window gasket. Its gone away now after washing and window use. Had a seat belt rattle in the B pillar that has gone away after messing with it just using stuff seems to get it working better.
Mileage in Normal mode especially around town can be...
The foam engine cover? There were others reporting theirs missing at the dealer. Its a strange part to have supply issues it’s likely made here in the US given its such a simple foam formed part. However raw material supply lines are all messed up right now.
Ford warranty do some digging here there was a dealer with the price schedules and packages online and $1000’s cheaper than the ripoff finance Managers office. I simply filled out the forms, paid by credit card and had my Real Ford warranty setup. Not something worth paying a middle man $2000 to...
Its so bad here our local hardware store reported a strange couple buying blades today. Pd confirmed its the same couple and car seen on security cameras hitting several cars in our area.
To bad PD missed them by 2 minutes.. That would have been a cool bust.
Nope
Parking in the garage can really make smells from a hot vehicle super noticeable.
I only park my 2 seater in the garage and typically will leave it in the driveway after a long drive and let it cool off before putting it away just for that reason. The other half of the garage was turned...
Several recent big busts have been linked to shipments headed back to China in both US and UK. The US law enforcement agencies seem to be really getting aggressive in tracking the players and going after the bigger stashes in just the last few weeks.
Just trying to avoid that mess to start with. My risk is likely low but curious if someone might have seen something interesting that might avoid trapping heat and debris
Anyone try or do some kind of plate or cover to slow catalytic converter theft?
Also thinking any sort of cover would trap the high heat and cause serious heat issues? Thoughts or ideas?
So the catalytic converter theft is linked to the crack down on emissions in china and shortage of raw...
Have the dealer check the fuel system I know Subaru had several cases of the injectors dumping excessive fuel into the cylinders and customers were reporting smoke at startup. Later engine failure due to fuel dilution of engine oil. Maybe have them test oil for heavy fuel dilution? I think this...
October build date cast aluminum pan the earlier 19’s might have the abs pan. I suspect Ford quietly did some tweaks to the 3.5 mid 19 cycle
only have 13,000 on it. No issues despite a buck deciding to charge us $15,000 and 6 weeks in the shop at 980 miles ♂️. Then COVID
I noticed if I had a 3-4lb difference between sides it did wander more to one side.
I think these big wheel/ sporty tire combos have more dramatic impact on handling when they aren’t right on the numbers. Vs my old truck on boring 17’s with thick rubber was far less finicky on pressures
