    Brake Bleed Procedure 2015 Expedition

That’s the order I did mine in and it’s tight as I can imagine it could be. I did use a power bleeder rather than the traditional method so I could flush the old fluid while I was down there, but that shouldn’t matter.

    17 expedition bucking while slowing

With your performance/tow tune, it’s possible that’s what causing it. I have experienced none of those symptoms, but my transmission tuning is far from stock or what 5-Star provides with their normal tunes. I also never lock out gears, as the truck should downshift and provide engine braking by...

    EcoBoost Throttle Body Replaced

There’s a circuit board in the TB that fails. The TB was produced by Delphi, and they produced a bad part. They even offer the plastic cap with the circuit board already in it just to lower warranty costs due to the number of failures of that board.

    Another retrofit started. RX350!!!

I like that video, I wasn’t aware the Diode Dynamics had a high/low in addition to the switchback. The fishing line is an interesting touch, seems like all the ones I see are glued/epoxied onto the headlight, but this seems cleaner and won’t destroy the switchback if you ever decide to tear...

Where is coolant drain Ecoboost Expedition?

That’s looking up from the passenger-side wheelwell. It’s where I circled, just up and left of that cooler line. Kind of a pain to get to, but what isn’t in these engine compartments?

Where is coolant drain Ecoboost Expedition?

Tasca lists a drain plug for the radiator, specific to the 3.5, picture shows it on the passenger side, back of the radiator near the bottom. I stuck my hand up there and found it. It feels like a plastic radio knob.

    Another retrofit started. RX350!!!

These are looking really good, and very clean job. You going to match the switchback strip with a switchback turn signal bulb so it will be all-white when in parking mode and all-amber when turn signal is on?

    2017 EXP LTD - Hitch/Plug Question

All 15-17 Expeditions have a 7- and a 4-pin connector. So you’ll have no issues.

    Best quality HID’s

I’d say they are 5000K, but 5000K to 5500K is a good match. I had 5000K bulbs and they were pretty close, my current 4800K ones are more noticeably off. That pic is with 5000K bulbs, but keep in mind I have 50-watt ballasts, which pushes the color temp more to the warm side than 35-watt ballasts do.

Bluetooth has quit working anyway to hard reset the unit??

If what @iimagine posted doesn’t work for some reason, you can try resetting it by holding the power and next track buttons together for six seconds. The screen should go black, then it should boot back up. It’s not a “master reset” and won’t affect saved settings or anything, but it’s worked in...

Bluetooth has quit working anyway to hard reset the unit??

    4 high/low question

They say that due to transfer case bind if the tires don’t spin. The transfer case keeps the front and rear ends locked at the same speed, if they are spinning different speeds due to there being good traction and no wheelspin present it can cause the case to break. Much like running a welded...

    93 perf tune

Yes, 93 perf” is 93-octane performance in this instance. You can get other tunes for lower octane, I have an 87-octane tune as well, but I never use it, truck feels more responsive on the 93 tune to my butt dyno, which is good enough for me. As far as the warranty goes, yes and no. Technically...

    93 perf tune

Excellent choice in tune and tuner. I run the same setup on my truck and keep in 4A now because I was tired of going sideways when trying to pull out fast. Never disappointing how fun it is for the sheer size of these trucks. As an FYI, I forget to switch the Perf tune for the Perf/Tow and...

    Tuner...

I can vouch for 5-Star using an SCT X4 as my tuning device. I’ve used them on my last 3 trucks and they’ve been great. Making adjustments to my tune is as simple as making a phone call, which I’ve done more than once to get the transmission programming where I like it (which most would consider...

    Some Rear Wiper Options

Pop up the plastic at the center, remove 14mm nut, pull arm off. Put new arm on, reinstall nut, pop plastic down, and you’re done. Only thing to watch for is misalignment of the arm when you reinstall it. It’s easy to shift the arm a little and have the blade run off the window.

    2017 Wireless Charger

Here’s a blowup of the center console, that should help differentiate the various trim that covers bolt holes. I believe @Muddy Bean took his apart to change the bulb for the ambient lighting, he might have some more knowledge. I’ve never taken mine out, and it appears different than the console...

Who makes a finned differential cover?

I looked around, and despite what you’d expect, the GT350 and GT350R both use an 8.8” IRS. Even if it was a 9.75”, the design is radically different from ours. I can’t find any other vehicle in the Ford Co lineup that uses a 9.75” IRS, making the differential cover 100% unique to the Expy/Navi...

    F150 bumpers/grill guards

I’ve been looking at this very same issue for the nearly two years I’ve owned my truck and never been able to have any definitive answer one way or another, and I have yet to be willing to drop $1K plus on a bumper because I “think” the frame rail ends are the same and the upper fascia lower...

Who makes a finned differential cover?

I think you’re SOL because the cover has mounting ears on it due to the IRS.

    Need new key fob

It’s basically an unrestricted key, which is how they come from the factory. If you’ve never setup a MyKey key, then it’s an admin key. Sometimes people buy used trucks and get one key that turns out to have been programmed as a MyKey, and they can’t be used to program new keys. All the old keys...

    Need new key fob

As long as you have an admin key, you can program them yourself. I can’t remember the technique exactly, I did it on my F-150 when I added factory remote start to it. My wife got two key fobs with her truck and neither of the keys was even cut.

    Add load leveling shocks

Curiously, my car hauler doesn’t make my truck sag much when empty (3,500 pounds, 350 TW), not more than an inch or two, and I use a weight distribution setup when it’s loaded. As was pointed out, the load leveling shocks don’t do much with that much tongue weight anyway. Have you considered...

    2015 Platinum

I believe it’s a not a feature in any Expedition prior to ‘18. I’ve never seen it mentioned in any of the 16 or 17 literature at least.
