Was out on vaca and just saw this. According to Ford, Sync 24127 is the latest available for these trucks (my F150 is on the same version and this is also the latest version for many other Ford vehicle platforms). This is an APIM update and installs while the vehicle is on and running; not using...
That's a GWM update that was first reported on the F150 forum in November, so it is fairly new. That was the last OTA that was sent to the F150s and Lightnings before the started getting the new IPMA update for BC 1.4. However, the Expos seem to be getting 1.3 whenever it starts being pushed out...
100% possible and extremely likely it was on the lot with outdated software on several modules. This is completely normal with all manufacturers; not just Ford.
Well, just changed that value to a zero and took my truck for a drive, and LKA and LC worked as it should. Lanes turned green when I reached the right speed and turned red if I started veering out of my lane. Whatever the issue is, it is not that. I'm out of ideas.
That's in the APIM (as built) section. Tbh, I doubt this is what is causing it not to work, but it is worth a try. If you don't have FORScan yet, what I can do is turn it off on my truck and test it to see if lane-centering still works or not. I can try it out tonight after work.
With the exception of that one value I found, everything seems to point towards LKA working. Without being able to plug into the truck myself, there isn't anything else I can suggest.
Yea, that camera is the one responsible for reading the lanes in front of you and are directly related to lane keeping. The only way to get to them is by removing the rear view mirror assembly. However, if there was an issue with that camera, it would be reporting some DTC that would point to...
Your truck is not reporting any codes indicative of any ADAS problems. I pulled the a/b data from the Motorcraft site and the config in your IPMA shows LKA is enabled on your truck. Are you sure that you have this button pressed and LKA is turned on?
You can't force it to update over the air.
Hold on: Are you saying you just bought this truck and lane assist is not working, or you just picked it up from the dealer after some repair(s) and now lane assist is not working? Message me the VIN.
Yes, that's the same one I posted. That is from GSB 21-7146 that was released in October of 2023 via PTS to all Ford dealers.
Message me the VIN and I'll poke around to see if I see anything that looks out of whack, but the only vehicles known to get legit stuck not getting OTA's were job 2021...
A link to this document? If your truck is on Sync 24127 now and the dealer did apply all pending updates, then I would not expect any OTA's to come in any time soon.
@expy22 Ford pushes out updates to groups of VINs at a time. There is no established time frame as to how often they get sent out to vehicles. To make things even more confusing, not all vehicles have all the same updates available for them to receive OTA or install at the dealership level or...
11k miles on the truck since I installed the tune, and nothing has blown up yet. lol Not sure how accurate the PID's with the Torque app are, but I've seen it record boost up to 23 lbs using the app. I am an avid FDRS and FORScan user, and my truck is reporting no codes other than the PCM code...
I'm running the same tune on my F150 EcoBoost. Prior to the tune, the factory boost gauge peaked at maybe 15-16lbs. Post-tune, it reaches 20lbs+ which is the limit of the boost gauge. This tune combined with using 4A for traction is awesome. I can't post the video here, but notice the boost...
BC 1.4 is being sent out OTA to F150's and Lightnings as of today.

Very unlikely, but I'm not sure what the 4D tech device does, but I would have just turned auto start/stop off with FORScan. I would try rebooting the GWM with FORScan. I've seen it get hung up in a funky state and cause weird issues. Not sure if the master reset reboots the GWM, so I would try...
It seems right. Not sure about RA automatic control.....maybe try manual to see if it works? It is very improbable that the config on the HVAC module got wiped. I've seen APIM config get changed by OTA's, but never on the HVAC.
