While it doesn't have the updated infotainment system, it's definitely right up there with the Navigator in ride quality and quietness.     Cars in general are a total waste of money. But as much as I'm in mine, I guess I have to bite the bullet every once in a while! Honestly, unless I'm driving a Landcruiser or a Porsche, I can't think of many SUVs that would maintain their value.

    The New Gator is anything but an old person ride. Get I one and you will see what I mean. I'm test driving the new QX80 this week, but my guess is I'll end up with a Gator or Expy, which means I will wait a couple more months for incentives.

    Comparing to the Expy Platinum we drove two weeks ago. That one is on sale for 74k fully loaded and the Gator was 85k without DVD. However I didn't even ask what they take off the sticker for the Gator. Personally I like the look of the Gator 10x. So to me it's worth a bit more, but not 11k...

    My wife and I test drove a Denali today AFTER the Navigator. Whoops, bug mistake there. She got in the Denali and was like, "this thing is so boring" lol. The guy knows we are looking at the Expy and Gator, and offered us the 18 Denali ultimate for 66k! They have to be scared of Ford now...

    The two platinum models I have seen here in KC are both 6k off MSRP. the one we drove yesterday was 74 with a sticker of just over 80.

    Took my wife to test drive a platinum yesterday and she loved it. However, we may end up saving about 16k on a 17 Denali closeout. It's insane what they are discounting on them right now!!!

    Test driving a regular length black platinum later this week. This will be my second test drive before testing out the Gator Reserve next week. the Max was fully loaded at 77K and the regular is fully loaded at 74K.
