THANK YOU !!!! Totally agree, and I have been biting my tongue trying not to respond to this thread in a negative way. Been towing and RV'ing since my first camper in 1970, and I remember buying cars and trucks with huge gas drinking engines that got, if you were lucky, 5-6 mpg when towing and...
Just for info......Amazon and Weathertech have their MudFlaps on sale for around $162,00 which includes shipping....tax xtra. Just bought a set for my 2019 from Amazon.
Price is same for up to 2024,,,2025 and up not listed on their website, but probably the same.
He has made a total of two posts, and one was to belittle another member for his opinion.
That is the kind of member no forum needs.
I'm fairly new here, but have been a member of numerous forums over the years, and on each there always seems to be someone who just has a long steel rod jammed...
I think he should get a couple of gallon tomato juice cans and put them on in place of the mufflers !!!!
He wants specific brands......Costco Brand !!!!
Then you can pack them with various amounts of steel wool till you get the obnoxious sound you want.....to match your attitude !!!!
How in the heck do you buy something and not know what you've bought ?????
"I thought I bought a Mustang....but what is that Prius doing in the driveway" ?????? :banghead:
Glad you got it worked out....
Next time someone tries to help you, you might want to give them a thanks instead of telling them to stop responding when they're trying to help.
From google info via posts on this site in the past, take the floor mats out and the lower right kick panel can/should rotate giving access to the fuses.
Comming from the Ford Ranger 5G Forums, a member for 4 years....
The Ranger has the same tranny as the Expy, and there are numerous posts about changing the fluid.
First, stay away from the Doorman....it leaks. The PPE uses the same gasket as the OE and you can reuse it if not old. The Mish...
Your battery is on its way out. On my previous Ranger 5G Forum, it was common for the AGM's to start showing failures after around 3 years. Mine bit the dust just prior to 4 years, and yup, 3-4 years was average. And my Ranger was garaged the entire 4 years I had it.
Many of us, myself...
Got front and rear axle, transfer case lubes all changed, brake system flush done today. Coolant and thermostat done when I bought Tank a month ago, and trans was rebuilt under warranty in 2024....all new innards/filter/fluid.
So, I am good to go for the near future and I now know when all...
the 2019-2021 suffered from some tranny problems, same as the same year Rangers. The 10R80 trans could have some internal problems.....no all but some. Biggest change was in 2022 when Ford upgraded the internals and same was done across the board. If under warranty Ford would re-build or...
Owners manual says it will run OK on regular, but recommends premium. That should tell you something right off the bat. Keep running regular around town I guarantee in the near future your engine will experience carbon build up and will start running like poop.
At least run mid-grade and if...
I'm fairly new here, but was on the Ranger 5G forum for almost 5 years. Used the Ranger to tow our travel trailer, and as an everyday driver for this old senior citizen.
Now we have the 2019 Expedition, and like many posts about mpg.....I just don't bother myself with mpg. It is what it is...
I just got a front floor set of Husky's. Very happy with them. Have always bought WeatherTech in the past, but the Husky's were $20 bucks cheaper and free shipping from Amazon or Husky if you buy them from their web site.
Only got the fronts as rear is used only occasionally and the Ford rears...
Purchased a 2019 FX4 optioned with the HD tow and proper tow gearing. Had 112,000 miles on it but in excellent cond, with all records. I did notice that it ran hot both coolant and trans....have a Scan Gauge lll to monitor. Since we tow a 7000 lb travel trailer, having 230 coolant and trans...
