    it all depends on how his coils are , if he has c.o.p. going through the tire fender won't work as they are on the top of the motor. if he has the pack of for coils in one that might work.

    Be very careful when selecting plugs only use motorcraft, i had bosch platnium plus 2 and the truck ran like S**t. and they use a 5/8 spark plug socket. And the coils use a 9/32 socket where thay attach is fragile so be very careful. and the third one on the drivers side and the last two on the...

    What they beat looks like your pinion gear.(Damn that must have been stuck) The pinion gear is what connects the drive shaft yoke to the differential.

    yea before i had changed my plugs i had ford stock plugs and yea there great i had 170,000 on mine but the only reason i went to the bosch was i got them as a gift so they were free :)

    i tow about 6500 no problem. i have a 97 with the 5.4. the whole reason the expedition can tow more is the frame and suspension can support more than the escalade.

    yea the first gen ex's have the pats. and they can have up to 16 keys programmed at one time. so the manual states.

    i think with the brake controller it has the trans shift slower to help with braking that would be my guess.

    Yeah with mine, I have a 1997 5.4 4x4 and with that kind of hitch i can tow 8,000 with the weight distributing and on my dads he can tow 10 flat w/ wdist.

    by way of drop hitch i meant the 2x2 receiver under the bumper that is mounted to the frame.

    Ok just checked my manual and it says 1997 4X2 4.6L, 5900 lbs max trailer weight. i'm guessing this is with a drop hitch.

    Knock, Knock

    I have the same problem on a 2002+2003 F250 both 5.4L, One 4X4 the other not. Usually happens when i hit the brake then start moving again (like a stop light). Just one loud THUD that i can feel on the floor board.:troll:
