i use my lights for offroad applications and whatnot when i am back home on leave for deer season and bird season. and i agree, our lights SUCK on 1st gen so extra light is always nice in the woods...
that sux. yeah, im hoping that county and marion will be testing again this fall. then i will be able to make the academy cuz i can go on terminal leave at the end of october or beginning of november....
im almost done with my criminal justice too walnuts. they are hiring this year for cedar rapids iowa, started applications today. problem for me is they start academy in august and i dont get out of military till dec!!!! so now i have to wait till next year if i want to get hired on that dept...
welcome, and we wont hold the coast guard comment against ya (im a navy corpsman! haha). just kidding shippy. i agree, ditch the air and do the coil conversion. i think you will be much happier.
locking it should be the least of your worries. unless you plan on doing some serious offroading, lockers will be a waste of money. get a 3" body lift, throw on some good 35" mud tires and call it good. you dont need to replace the bumper, you can get a hidden winch mount from warn (like i have)...
not necessary. leave it alone. you really only need to upgrade your gearing if you go bigger than a 35" tire and do a lot of offroading. if you just hit a little snow now and then, dont even mess with them.
i have the black lightning headlights and corners and i love them with my truck. i just dont know how compatible they are with HID's cuz you really dont get much more light out of these things. i wouldnt mind if they were brighter. if i cant HID them, i am going to just run some hyperwhites i think.
there is a lot of good info in the suspension forums about doing a TT. you should not need an alignment if you do the adjustments evenly. if your shocks are old, i would suggest getting new ones but if you are only going 2 inches, you may not need them right away. head over to the suspension...
i bought rotorpro drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic pads all around and it cost me 300 bucks shipped. that was almost 2 years ago and i have not had any problems, even when pulling my 2 jet skis.
yes, you can use the rancho. but as previously said, you may get driveline vibration. the only time i get vibration is on turns from stop, but i dont think that is a lift issue. it is recent so i think it is either hub or cv problems.
yeah, i have to remove my garage door, put another panel in, and move the header up 2ft to make room to get into the garage. gonna be a summer project.
just a few albums of my expy. havent added any pics in a long time to the albums but will have to take some new pics to update them.

15 will not fit. you need to run at least a 16 inch rim. tire rack has some good deals on rims but it also depends on what you are looking for. if you are looking for offroad rims/tires, you can pick up an issue of Petersen's 4wd mag and they have tire/wheel combos with pretty good pricing...
