my worst stuck is in my white expedition in the sig below. was doing just fine till the front end got snagged on the way out. stopped me dead in my tracks and there was no going back. 2.5 hours later, had to wait for a buddy to come get me out!
im not sure how your console is set up buy my rear air controls were on the console, not the overhead. so i just pulled out the rear air controls (set it on rear and tucked it under the console so you could still use the controls in the rear) and put my cb in there. it fit perfect. and i had no...
i would have to agree on the getting a new expy. it sux giving up a vehicle that you have had a long time but trust me, you will get over it. i got rid of the white one in my sig but i am much happier with the one i have now, especially after i got the lift and everything on.
i had my cb mounted where the rear air controls were (EB version) but bought a smaller radio and it is in my center consol, i just ran a speaker to the little cubby part of the consol. i suggest just doing a magnet mount antenna. much easier. i am havin a hell of a time grounding my antennas on...
if i remember, you have 1st gen. its really easy. just remove the bezel above your steering wheel (the one that surrounds the guage cluster). i think there are 6 bolts, cant remember. once you remove those bolts, you should be able to pop off that bezel and then just remove the screws holding...
i was able to fit my brush guard, hidden winch mount, and tow hooks all together on the frame. it was a little tight but you should be able to make it fit.
two problems...he is running full throttle which i agree, from EVERYONE i have talked to (and that is a lot of people) those things are garbage. also, with a full throttle 10" lift, he should be running 40" tires, not 35's.....damn hawaiins!
for the plastic, i just used 120 grit and a green scratch pad to rough it up a little. i suggest using an adhesion promoter and then finish it off with some clear. it will hold up better that way. as for the lining, i am assuming you are referring to the cargo area? i used 60 grit to sand it all...
i agree, no problems with the 35's. as for your truck sitting, run a fresh tank of gas in with a bottle of drygas or heet (to remove condensation) and reset the computer.
majik, those steps that you have, are they the ones for the f150? i have been trying to find some of those but they dont...
if you are ever questioning if you should get a 2wd or a 4wd, always go with 4wd. better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it. as for years, i prefer the 97-98 because they had the option to run it in 2wd. my 01 does not. it is either A4wd or 4h/4l. thats it. but i have...
i took all of my "woodgrain" off cuz i thought it looked cheap. just my opinion. im in the middle of painting all of my interior pieces to black out my rig.
you put the heaters INSIDE the vehicle? i see a car fire in your future! hahah. i may do an engine block heater when i move back to iowa. it has been shown that letting your vehicle idle in the morning really doesnt do much except waste gas. at least with a block heater, you just jump in and go.
