it really depends on your patience level. some things are just worth paying the extra money for the convenience. if you are handy with some tools, it shouldnt be that big of a deal.

is your shimmy gone? also, this hooks to the frame and the suspension correct? so this thing mounts pretty quickly correct? also, do we have one of these OEM on our trucks? is it located behind the skid plate? sorry for all the questions but its raining like hell here and my truck doesnt...
a 3" BL will bring a 2wd up to about the same height as a stock 4x4. a 2wd with a 3" BL might be able to clear some 32's with minor trimming, if any at all.
looks like fun. how's the rig handle with all that wood back there? i love snow like that, just a nice light dusting...i will get to experience that next year when i move back home to iowa.
