Mine has been 8.4 around town not towing anything so I can imagine what its gonna be towing my boat in the spring...lol
Still have to do the gotts mod, E-fans, open the exhaust and program it.
I agree, you better be careful. Now if the seller give you his home address and you get a good feel, then you might risk it. If he wants you to meet him at the mall to dump them off on you, better reconsider.
I know, Im a little concerned about the mpg also. I have new plugs, new fuel filter, new air filter, fresh oil change and was avging 10.2 before the lift and tires. Gonna do the gotts mod and may look into those electric fans to take a load off the engine.
My rig runs fine too, no codes or...
Get dent wizzard ( pdr guy ) to pop it out and try to buff out the scuff.
Black shows every sniffle and sneeze on it too.
$200 is about right, if not more.
They use specialty tools to work with and are proud of them ( price wise )
They are pretty loud. I had the same size maxxis bighorns on my truck and they didnt even make any noise. For those who want quiet, then these are definitely not for them.
They are one of the most aggressive looks/patterns on the market, but along with that killer look comes the noise and...
My question is why are they not ready?
Have you disconnected the battery recently?
Sometimes they take 20 miles to get ready , others take 100 miles to get ready. System ready means that it has cycled its testing enough times to be ready to give accountable results.
Give it a few more miles.
Thanks man.
Went out and got upside down in the floorboard and found that when the adjustable pedals are all the way down, they are hiting a cable and sticking slightly. I just raised them up ever so slightly and the problem is fixed. Just know now not to lower the pedals all the way down.
Hey guys,
I just put my body lift on and now this is twice I have noticed that the brake lights illuminated. Once after I parked and went around, I noticed they were still on. I then pushed the pedal with my hand down a few times and they went off.
Two hours later I came outside and they were...
Good deal Panda, Thanks for the pics. Looks great.
Also for everyone interested... Here is my bodylift finished.
Had the wheels and tires for a couple weeks waiting in my shop to go on.
Awesome Job,
I am working on mine as we speak but its been 30 degrees here so im moving real slow.
I should be done by mid-late week and post pics.
Are you going to keep those factory wheels or go for some different ones?
Also, where did you get the fog light rack for the top of the truck?
Thanks thermo,
Mine is leaking at the front inside corner ( nearest the radiator / intake )
Im hoping its just the valve cover, but will keep my eye out for the head gasket. My coolant seems clear so far...crosses fingers that its not a head gasket.
I will keep you informed, but will be...
I just noticed that my valve cover gasket on the passenger side appears to be leaking oil.
Am I gonna have to take off anything like fuel rail , ac lines etc... to get to it?
Also what type gaskets do you reccomend. Felpro ?
Thank in advance guys.
