Well for last couple of months haven't driven the expy... and last time I tried to start it nothing not even enough power to use the key fob... can the battery just go bad? Only 2 years old so gonna get it tested this weekend it has a 3 year warranty... but its weird nothing that I can tell was...
the code is on the RAP module... above brake pedal on firewall.... gray.white box... sticker in the middle shows the 5 digit code....
I believe the buttons are a one piece until... seen on the f150 forums were people changed the colors of the buttons and it was a solid one piece unit...
+1 for inverter and can always get it installed like the stereo and can only come on with the key... that way its less likely for you to kill the battery... and can always go to a optima red/yellow top battery for some added insurance
if you leave the cats alone.... cut the muffler off and have a Y installed and run duals to the rear... will be loud.... tons of trucks have it that way up here... or if you remove the rear cats I would install a muffler.... my .02 would be a flowmaster 40
I'm always gonna say fabtech.... had one on my f150 and now on expy and love them.... but if you wanna save some money the zone kit is the way to go... I saw it when they first came out in PA at the bloomsburg jamboree and the kit looked solid and their reps knew what they were talking about...
