He might just not use a forum much and never realized he should include that info. Not really a big deal.
Check wiring too. Could be a short in the system

Look for broken manifold studs or broken studs that hold the cats to the manifold. That will cause a gas smell. I know from experience...

There may be a blockage in the EGR pipe or something wrong with the EGR valve. I would start with checking over that system.
Though I agree with chair that you will want to test fuel pressure first. I think the truck should still run despite a bad EGR system, it will just run poorly. No fuel...
I've used sea foam to good effect. But to each his own, you can try other stuff too.
No grease zerk on the ball joints or tie rod ends if they are factory. Most aftermarket ball joints will come with one though

Unfortunately it looks like that crossmember collapsed. Possibly due to rust. It's hard to tell from the pictures but that could very well explain the occurrence
EDIT: I looked at them again and I can't decide. It could just be the way it looks when the torsion bar isn't there to hold it in...
Agreed. Jack that tire up and push on the tire in and out with your hands at 12 and 6. Any play back and forth and it's time for upper and lower ball joints.
One other thing I would check is the 3 bolts that hold the wheel hub on. I didn't tighten mine down enough once and as they vibrated...
That's what I would think. Did the torsion key break? If the piece that extends to the bolt snapped then maybe that's how. Honestly I have never heard of a torsion bar coming loose...

I had a real issue with my alignment shop in that they couldn't get it right the first (or second) time. After a bit of stick measuring they finally fixed it right and now mine is pretty good about keeping straight too.
I would say do the inner and outer tie rod ends to be sure. Also check the...
I second the notion. That was actually going to be my advice too when I first read the original post. Put a grade 8 bolt in there and it will do just as well as the one from the dealership. Also I am guessing that the bolt will sit in the dimple even if the head isn't rounded. Lots of...
Ah I see. I was thinking you replaced the hard line from the master to the fronts. Didn't know we were talking about the rears. The rear does look a bit more complicated...

I agree with this. That is my first place to start is make sure the thing isn't super flooded. Removing the spark plugs will also tell you if it really is seized or not since compression will be absent. Could have a broken timing chain or valve so be careful using the starter motor. Don't want...
I have found that to tow with OD off, you really can't do much more than 60mph. Also, while weight may not be too much an issue, aerodynamics might be. If it is taller than the expy, consider an air foil on top. It is amazing what properly flowing air can do.
I also second the notion of an...
I am running accel super coils without issue so far. I distinctly remember another member having real issues with his granatelli coils too about 6 months ago. One thing you might try is resetting the PCM. Also what did you gap the plugs to?

Otherwise just cut a piece of heavy gauge steel and bolt it on. I know at least for the first gens, only trucks with the HD towing package came with a skid plate from the factory. Mine is all beat up so it has served it's purpose well haha.

Oh I see it now. Sorry still learning about how to use tapatalk.
I am not sure what you have for car parts stores in Poland but give them a phone call and see if they have a code reader you can use.

Can you read any codes from the check engine light? Where are you from?
Also how many miles/km's on the vehicle? Could just be time for new spark plugs like Tom said.

Track your fuel economy over the next tank. You Are shooting for 10-12 or higher. Any lower and a restriction in the system is possible. In my personal experience though, o2 sensors tend to go out way before the cats plug up.

Well the safest bet is motorcraft. I have heard these motors are fussy when it comes to plugs so I would be wary of taking the chance. Especially given what a pain the plugs are to replace in the first place.

Yeah most likely. If it isn't dripping on your driveway though, I would just leave it. Check your trans fluid once a month and call it good. It's not really worth the hassle or the money to pay someone to do it unless it is really leaking bad.
If it's not leaking enough to even form drips, it...
Well if it is closer to the back of the truck and attached to the bell housing, then yes it is the trans pan. Touch it with you finger, you should see a red tinge to it. It's probably just dirty from being on the outside of the trans.

Welcome! Loads of info and smart people here. I completely rebuilt my front suspension a couple of years ago and it made a huge differnce

Sorry I misread the posts and thought we were looking for the p0403 code now. Does the truck feel underpowered at all? That is a good sign that one is clogged. Otherwise my guess is still the downstream sensor.
I have read from some smart people that the downstream sensor is not imperative to...
Glad things worked out... My uncle had to hit a printer on the highway last year. Tore up the entire front of his explorer.
