Well, got the word from the salesman today that my wife’s car has been delivered! Will be picking it up this Friday after I get back from my border deployment. So the final break down for the order to build to delivery process I’ll add below for others to reference.
1/3- placed order for...
Well, the original delivery date of 5/17-5/20 has passed and my car is still sitting at the rail yard in Mesquite, TX, just a few hours away. As of right now, the dealer told me that their Ford rep isn’t letting them go pick up the cars from the rail yard, but at the sister GM dealer next door...
Supposedly the only app that you could follow the tracking progress of you vehicle by convoy, was Palsapp but they’ve since locked the site down so us customers can’t use it to track our orders. If you’re wanting to track the shipment progress on your order if it was shipped by rail, you’ll...
Congrats buddy! Mine has been sitting at the rail yard just 3 hours from my house for the past 8 days now. No idea when it’ll be delivered, but won’t be able to pick it up until after I get back from my 9-day border deployment (if it comes in while I’m gone)
Well, dealer wouldn’t give me an estimated trade-in value for my 19 f150 STX, and my local sheriff’s office happened to be needing a truck. That being said, the sheriff bought my truck and it’ll officially go over to him next week. They paid me a price I couldn’t resist for it and I know my...
Mine went into production on 4/22 and was “built” 5/3. Shipped out the next day. Currently sitting at the rail yard 3 hours from my house waiting on enough vehicles for the carrier to make it worth their while to haul the car down here to the dealer
Good deal! Mine has been sitting at the rail yard in Mesquite, TX since 5/10. I hope I can get delivered this week before I’m gone to the US-Mexico border for another 9-day deployment.
I don’t know, that’s pretty strange. Unless there is a ton of cars that they decided to all send straight to NV from the factory by truck, it doesn’t make much sense.
That’s interesting. If it’s in transit, the check mark on the ford pizza tracker won’t be added until shipping is completed, and the vehicle is delivered at the dealership.
Sounds like Ford has acquired all the chips needed to complete this MY’s production (or at least for May Production). They are going to leave the delete option open in the event they run out of chips again.
If I am not mistaken, the "CERT" section pertains to emissions standards, "ULC" being one of the standards. My expedition is currently in transit and does not have "ULC" on my current window sticker, BUT I also deleted the Auto Start/Stop function on the car. For those of you that still have...
Well, called the CSX tracking system and my expedition is already in Mesquite, TX, our closest rail yard. Hopefully we can get a carrier relatively quickly to pick up the car and get it to Lampasas.
That’s the first expedition I’ve seen with vinyl interior. The 202a comes with the activex material but 200a comes with cloth from what I’ve seen.
Disregard, I didn’t realize you could order activex as part of the 200a equipment package.
Probably a pretty good chance that it’s built or at least a good ways along in the production process. I think I had my activate button pop up a day or two before my vehicle was “built”
This is correct, although, from what I’ve seen, your vehicle will likely go into production status the Wednesday or Thursday before your build week as long as there are no parts shortages or assembly line issues.
