I actually don’t mine the front end, I just don’t like getting the email with the picture of the front end saying my order has been delayed another week lol
Ordered on 1/3, confirmation email minutes after walking out of the dealer, and VIN and Order Number email on 2/3 with original production scheduled for 3/7, now scheduled for 4/4.
Ordered at MSRP but just got an X-plan pin so may be getting to use that.
I ordered a Expedition Max XLT 4x4...
On a positive note for those of us that haven’t had our new expy’s built or haven’t had production start on them yet. No dreaded email on this Thursday night from FMC with that ‘22 front end telling us our builds have been postponed another week or month or year lol
Well, got signed up with EAA and you sure enough can get an x-plan pin! Only kicker is you have to be a member in good standing for 60 or 90 days (they said both so not sure which it is) before you can use the pin to purchase your vehicle.
Really starting to dislike getting an email from FMC with a close up pic of the front end of the ‘22 expedition. Seems like it just brings more bad news every time I see the front end on a Ford email
Just depends. I ordered mine on 1/3 and got my scheduling email on 2/3. If you ordered one with a rear entertainment system, you could be waiting longer.
I just checked again and now it’s working. Probably just a glitch in their system. Still don’t have a window sticker for my expedition unfortunately. Just hope they don’t keep pushing my production date back anymore than they have but it’ll be best if I just get used to it more than likely.
A few days ago I was able to access the tracking for my expedition. Now when I enter my order number and VIN, it loads and takes me back to the page where I enter my order number and VIN into. No error message or anything, just like it won’t work for some reason.
Well the fog light situation is a little disheartening to say the least. The sandstone ceilings don’t really bother me honestly. It’s the same color combo in my 2019 f150 STX and I think looks good but it comes down to preference though.
That’s what I thought on the fog lights too! Even if they’re halogens, at least some fog lights stock on an XLT would have been nice! I think the ceilings are all going to be that “sandstone” color. It’s the same way in my 2019 f150 with black cloth seats.
I guess I’ll be waiting because my order was already scheduled for production and I’m not gonna change it now. Hopefully it’s an easy swap to throw in some fog lights and the wiring isn’t too much of a hassle. Would be really nice if they already had the wiring harnesses there ready to go.
Alright, then you’ll probably fair pretty well as long as the chip short lags doesn’t get worse. I ordered mine on 1/3 and didn’t get an email with a VIN, order number, production schedule until last Thursday, 2/3. My production week went from 3/7 to 3/14. If you call your dealer, you can...
I got my email 2 minutes after walking out the door of my local dealership. I ordered on a Monday. Since maybe you ordered on a Friday, you may get you email on Monday, as long as the dealer entered the correct email address for you in their system.
We will be trading in my ‘19 F150 STX 4x4 to get my wife the expedition we ordered. I have a 2000 F250 2wd with a 7.3L in it. I don’t need two full size trucks and my wife’s 2012 GMC Acadia killed over on us, hence why we’ll be trading in my truck for her new expedition to help with the...
Yup, still getting the same error message. I believe someone on here mentioned the tracking system might not work until closer to the build date of the vehicle or even after the vehicle has been built.
I just got an “adjustment” email this evening from Ford saying my order’s production week was moved from the week of 3/7 to 3/14. I guess priority may be a coming into play now
