What do you guys think of this cold air intake?

Technically speaking the stock intake is a Cold Air Intake as it pulls air from the fender. Theoretically the aftermarket intakes help reduce restriction to the incoming air increasing power. Bigger is better right? CFM demands of the motor apparently mean little or nothing. Supposedly...

    That could be the problem?!

Well..... I am here to tell you the pads can come loose and potentially bind things up?! But I do use my parking brake and maybe that's the difference.

    That could be the problem?!

Always heard things happen in 3's so hopefully after my brakes are done and the ticking is taken care of I will be good for awhile. Already replaced my failed fuel pump..

    That could be the problem?!

Fairly certain it took out one or both of the rotors as well when it occured just cannot tell visually. This would explain the pulsating brake pedal. Will replace rear rotors as well and hope that takes care of it.

    That could be the problem?!

I had my brakes lock up on me when I went into reverse after it sat for a few weeks. I felt sure my parking brakes were fudged up but then I felt badly pulsating brake pedal when driving. Rotors / calipers?? So I pull the rear rotors today. One was a biotch. It was so tight the adjuster wheel...

    Rev limiters

This post reminds me of when I broke my tranny. I set my rev limiter (in gear) to 6,500 thinking I would never hit it as I have the shift point set at 5,600. Well when I broke my tranny drag racing a couple years ago it scared the poop out of me as the motor was then free to rev. If she...

What did you do to your expedition today?

Tried to drive it some. Did drive around the block but my drivers side rear brake caliper is messed up. Thought my parking brake was having issues as it was locking up trying to reverse but when I drove it, was noisy and can feel the brake pedal vibrate. :( So brakes and valve train...

    01 wont go in drive

Yep. Agree with the above. The tranny pump is located on the input shaft with an automatic. When you roll with the drive wheels on the ground the tranny must spin but the pump (input shaft) is not. Who knows what kind of damage this can do?? That's why when you tow your 4wd you should use a...
