The crank sensor is located near the crank pulley (harmonic dampener) on the passenger side.
Any electrical issues can be intermittent in nature.
It has both a crank and cam sensor but it has been determined via another post it can run with the cam sensor not working?! The crank sensor...
My setup just pulls air from the engine compartment. When stopped the IAT's do rise and the longer I am stopped the higher they climb. But while moving there is obviously decent airflow through the engine compartment because they drop to near ambiant as well.
If I were to fabricate a "cold air...
Removing fuse 104 disables the A4wd. I was just commenting on this because at one poine I was trying to determine the stall speed of my converter. The racers way to determine the stall of a converter is to stand on the brakes and give it gas till the drive wheels break loose. Well with A4wd...
Sure it could handle the weight but dimensions... probably not.
Tape measure! :)
Not sure I would want the gas tank venting in the interior though disregarding the potential mess it may make.
Just expanding on what has already been said.
Both underdrive pulleys and the electric fans will reduce your overall cooling capacity. Underdrive pulleys are much better in an race environment. I would never put them on a daily driver (again) no matter the claims made. You always are...
Drivetrain is already covered according to his first post.
He would be basically purchasing $1715 plus visit fee for bumper to bumper coverage. So it covers everything other than drivetrain components which are already covered as I understand it anyways.
I purchased bumper to bumper service...
I got excited when I saw the title but different blower. :(
Does it have the auto climate control or mechanical selection?
The non-auto climate control units have a blower motor resistor that frequently go bad. I had to replace mine. I only had high speed available by the time I replaced it...
I always wax my headlights and tails when I wax the vehicle. Works great on them as well. Maybe some wax's won't work well.. I dunno. But the meguiars wax I use does.
These are my original headlights...
LOL..
I actually had success with wet sanding with 3000 grit sand paper followed up with cleaner wax. Depending on how bad cleaner wax by itself will work well. Just may take a bit more time.
Might try Mr Clean Eraser next time. :)
Parking brake is not intended to hold vehicle when you apply power.
But if you rotate the parking brake shoes reverse rotation they tend to bind up with the rotor. At least that's what I have found. My parking brake did not want to release and ended up bending the hell out of the shoes and...
You think that's weird... I can stand on my brakes and punch the throttle and my expy still takes off when the converter reaches stall rpms.
But if I pull fuse # 104 it will do a smoky burnout instead.
I associate hesitation with the engine. Now it could be when it goes into overdrive as that may put the greatest load on the motor. (Overdrive @ low rpm) Turning overdrive off may simply be reducing the load eliminating the symptom.
Now engine flare or slow to shift I would associate with the...
4 Hi locks the transfer case meaning you have power going to both the front and rear differential. A4wd engages the transfer case only when it senses slip.
Now if both front and rear differentials are open the wheel with the least traction (per axle) gets the power. So unfortunately if you...
The gas pumps today actually create a vacuum to suck out the fumes to keep from venting to atmosphere. At least I believe its the same nation wide.
I think the pumps shut off when fuel splashes back up into the dispenser. Not really a vent issue. I have also had them shut off when the seal was...
