does NY require a muffler for smog? if not then straight pipe it. if not then go with a bullet performance muffler. i think i am the only expedition with one. i love the sound. i am going to be putting one on my new truck when i get one.
there is a little hose that is behind the battery. you cant miss it. it goes into the firewall. check that for cracks. if its broken just push it into the firewall. mins broke and only air in the vents would work. now all better.
yesterday went to mc cains valley. the dirt there was really really weird. tacky and wet, but yet you can sink in if you floor it or power brake it. and then pull right out if you go the other direction or foot off the brake. really weird. and then today i just washed off all the dirt that got...
yeah its funny. hawaii is cheaper than average. its like $3.39? something like that. it has to be shipped in. explain that? wtf?! if i were to get a frontier i would do the titan swap. all the front end suspension components. its a cheap mid travel kit. about 11" of travel. but my dad is looking...
just cut the firewall and rebuild it around the motor. its what everyone down here does to their rangers when they put in an LS motor. just have to take apart the dash to get to it. which is lame. but it should fit that way. i hope you upgraded the rear end and the cvs. those things will break...
tired of throwing money at it. in last 6 months it has cost about $2-3k to keep on the road. blown plug, blown coil, new tires, little bit of this little bit of that starts to add up quick. and the fact that San Diego has the highest gas prices in all of the US. 4.39 yesterday. i need something...
maybe i should just sell it with the jvc deck in it. it was cheap anyways. and it worked better with it, but it still popped. well... i think im gonna... idk. ill have to look at it and see what i can do. also no sound in the rear left. i think it is the amp. ill just tell the owners that it...
all right ill do that. i have to take out the light switches anyways and i have to remove that whole thing. ill see what i can do. wonder if i messed with something with my bus bar that i have under there. ill have to do this tomorrow. even though its raining i dont care. haha i need this to be...
i use crimp terminals. but i remove the crappy red/blue cover so i can really crimp the wires and i use heat shrink. works great. use it on all things. speakers and lights. no problems. ill see what i can do. as for the stock amp when i look at it should i just see if all the wires are...
unplug the horn. just two connectors. both positive and the horn is grounded to the frame. its easy to check. i have a different high pitch horn attached to mine.
thats what im here for. haha just saying what happened to my friends dad. thought i would tell you the worst. and he took it to a friends shop. only cost him like $200. haha
i HATE mud. takes for ever to clean when you only play for like an hour or so. but its fun. youll do fine. 4hi and pedal to the floor youll be fine. i did some super deep stuff in 2wd and made it just fine. just have to keep it pinned in the wet and goopy stuff.
this is with my stock deck! i took the jvc out cause it was doing it with that. i thought it would fix the problem. so i guess i have to rip apart the dash to get to it. GREAT! ill do it this week when i remove all my light switches and wires.
my friends step dad had this problem. ended up having to take it in and have the whole steering column taken out and to replace a little pin that fell out. hope its nots that problem.
