    Heater Core is first guess, which could run out the a/c drain onto the ground, but the trucks with rear heat/air were known to develop a leak near the "T" fitting in the heater hoses which would drip on cylinder #4 cop and take it out.

    When you say left side, do you mean passenger? The 1st generations with rear heat/air have a "T" conection in the heater hose above the pass-side cam cover. They were notorious for leaking and dripping on the rear COP and taking it out.

    I put this Gibson kit on my 99 XLT 4.6 in August. Fit perfect, has a nice sound. Came with chrome tips. (Searched on Amazon.com and found it for about 350.00 shipped if I remember right).

    The 2000 models lost the fold-down armrests on the seats so the top of the console and lid became the armrest and was wider. At some point, I think on the sunroof models, the rear heat/ac controls made their way down to the center console. Don't know if the floor mounting changed or not.
