    newbie intake question

    I have another question regarding intakes. Someone mentioned to me that the metal kits may heat up more causing the intake air to be warmer. The plastic kits may not hold the heat as much. Can anyone verify this to be right or wrong? Thanks

    Wheel upgrade

    I like the look of the King Ranch wheel, the accent color really makes a difference I think. I haven't found a used set for sale so I don't know what they sell for but I found a place that sells reconditioned wheels for a fair price I feel.

    Just thought I would get some opinions on a wheel change. I have a 97 EB Expedition that is dark blue with tan trim around wheel wells and such. I am thinking of putting a set of King Ranch wheels on it since my wheels are in not so good of condition anymore. What do you think? I tried...

    My dad has a 97 F-150 and it felt like it was ready for a tranny rebuild @ 165000 miles or so. He got the tranny flushed and filter changed and it worked like new again, like someone mentioned earlier, and issue hasn't came back.

    Wheels & Tires

    Another point to watch for is that the smaller wheel clears the brake components. As far as I know, the early Expeditions came with either 16 or 17 in. wheels so it should be ok.
