Tow package is definitely not standard on Navis...
Might have to invest in a draggy... What #s are you getting in normal mode? Are you able to get good traction in normal without the awd and TC off?
So weird...
Have you tried different devices? Have any Android phones in the fam? If I had to guess it is a phone issue, not truck. Meaning the phone is telling the car it's using a prompt when it's not. I had an issue with one of my "connected" tablets that would randomly tell my F150 it...
@Artie
I hope you had some good weather! It was cold up in northern NC. Love the setup. I have had my eye on conquerer for quite some time now. Maybe one day we will cross paths at Overland Expo... Having grown up in Asheville I'm mad at myself for not making it to one of them while they...
Time to start looking for a set of blown ccd shocks....?
SDHQ is a great shop. They helped me source and built my last truck. Serena's builds are generally pretty nuts. If you know anyone with a Gen1 raptor looking for a bumper let me know!
@Tys expedition
If anyone would know about dual...
I don't think lift companies really test towing. Icon claims no loss of towing capacity but I'd be really surprised if there is any testing behind that statement. Id do saway bars with whatever lift you go with.
This isn't to say you cant tow with a lifted truck, just too many variables...
Is IVD Icon?
I know they sell a CCD removal kit for the Raptor. Might be worth reaching out to Fox as well. They were the first to come out with a CCD friendly shock upgrade for Raptors...
Back to looking fresh!
Are those 33s? The caps look so much better. How did you grind the axles? Dremel?
How often do you go camping? Are you going to remove the front air dam or let nature do it for you? :driver:
haha, the engineers assume the public has been bottling their mind for years which is why they feel they need to limit our access... o_O:jester:
Last Halloween I had to hop in a random family's RX350 because they got it stuck in a grass (read mud) parking lot. It was awd but wouldn't let you...
You have made my day...
Thank you for being the first and getting all the "little" things worked out for the rest of us. Really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the kit. I'm guessing it was a kit built for the F150?
Initial bite usually has more to do with the pads than the size...
Highly recommend steak... Skirt works just as well as the good stuff so you don't need anything fancy. Our French Bulldog is notoriously stubborn but that tends to get his attention no matter what. Good luck on the training! Is there a place he likes to go? Maybe the first few times he gets...
The Denali will have the same options when it comes to traction control, no idea if they have drive modes, allow 4x2 or if it's "full time" awd the only real difference is the heat soak from the turbos.
Yeah... 3 pulls in perfect conditions isn't a glowing review, but sounds about right. Are you tuned? If not that will only happen quicker due to the extra boost.
Most factory ICs are painfully under sized. The aftermarket IC on my other car is literally 3x the size of factory and was my...
Not the 2020 Navi we took on a test drive...
I haven't tried it on my truck yet.
If they shrugged at me like that I'd tell them to start replacing stuff til they figured it out. Sensors go bad and can be intermittent. Figure it out you lazy putzes
Gogogadget arms... I'm 6ft 8in so I suppose this is one of the benefits. :biggrin:
My cousin had done of these and I have to say it was a game changer in how quickly I could clean the roof...
2 in 1 Chenille Microfiber Car Wash Brush Mop Mitt with 45" Aluminum Alloy Long Handle, Car Cleaning...
Knowing what settings are best for launching a 7k lb vehicle (is 4x4 really better in "excite"/sport or is normal with 4x2 better?), Traction control on or off?, if they restarted between runs (loss of settings just like they did in their off road review), if they let the truck cool between runs...
Thank you for posting that wheel wand...
It wont be much help on the navi wheels but a god send on my other car's wheels. The large holes make drum cleanliness essential. I imagine it would be very helpful on the Platinum wheels as well.
You can order brembo BBKs on GMs... Its even on their build website. All these 22s with normal F150 brakes is pretty nuts really.
Willwood makes a BBK for the Raptor... Anyone know if the spindles are different from regular F150s/Raptors/Expeditions...
I don't disagree...
I have been thinking about going to 6 piston on my other car. That happens to be about half the weight. Anyone offer a reasonable upgraded brake system on these beasts? At least the front...
For those looking to mount a bunch of lights and or accessories, this seems like a good option for minimizing switch clutter. Also offers some strobe functions if you want to be clever "off road"...
