Is there anything you had to do to remove the valance? Or is there anything that needed support when removing? I think I might take mine off on Wed when I tackle the fender liners.
I ran a pair on my raptor for 65k trouble free miles. Got a deal on a set of kings I couldn't refuse and Baja was around the corner.
If you aren't completely turned off by the sticker price I'd say you will enjoy them.
On a side note... Since we don't have options for bumps stops...
These came up on Instagram...
Not sure how robust the hinges would be but I like the idea that they can be used as leveling "ramps" when camping. Also since I don't have a rack setup and the tent will be taking up the roof I'd have to keep whatever I get inside so the folding in a bag design...
@carymccarr
You mean a vehicle that isn't available for purchase that is a ground up refresh is better than the one on its third production year? Blasphemy! I also trust car companies about as far as I can throw them to do anything software based. Until someone can actually use that system...
Maybe put a Biden sticker on the back to keep it more moderate?
Sorry... Couldn't resist...
Rusty makes a great point though. If you don't see anything wrong with the wiring did you try replugging in the trailer connector? Could have been a bad connection there. Maybe try another trailer...

I'm sure the wifi works great, I'm more curious about the 4g bandwidth supporting two hd video streams at the same time... I hope it's no problem!
I'll give you that it's a band-aid,
But the functionality it adds is far from half-assed... How many other vehicles can stream video to the back seats much less have it trigger by voice? Ok Google, play the Sopranos in the back seat" It can be controlled by rf remote or any cell phone. I have...
They could be calling your bluff trying to get a few more coins out of you...
My dealer tried to charge me $300 for lugnut locks that came with the truck anyway....
They addressed it for Navis in 2020 by including the Roku. I can see how dated and useless it would be without it...
I'm eager to hear how the in car wifi handles the two independent tablets. Love how you integrated them into the factory mounts! @Vipersinu2
As aggravating as it is the auto industry has been struggling to keep up with tech for ages. It just changes at an exponentially faster rate. Ford probably made the decision to use those monitors in late 2016. They also have to pass crash testing, heat etc. Take one look at caddys CTS main...
Finally got my cross bars in... If anyone goes the Thule route 53 is the magic number for width on the feet. Really like the design. One tool that is included in each cap tightened the foot to the bar as well as the strap to the foot. Whole process took about 30min... and that was first time...
@Grey ghost
Sine we like being dramatic.... Good luck affording insurance for you non-self driving vehicle and relying on a substance controlled by the middle east and Russia. One little spat between those two and suddenly oil is worth less than zero.
...and the f350 towed it just fine? My first check would be the trailer. Bearings tires etc.
Next would be the hitch as mentioned...
Then maybe wheel speed sensor or the rear diff?
So it sounds like a trans tune issue... Might be worth mentioning to the service manager. I'd tell them you can trigger rear end collision level shifts pretty much on the fly and show them.
Anybody with a trans tune want to try this and see if they were able to fix the issue?
Wish I was closer...
Anything you need pictures of? It will be interesting to see if our trucks differ or if they actually went full raptor on the Navi like all the sales guys always like to say...
Just full lock, I have to go on a search for a ramp... But if you look in the picture you can see the liner actually has more room up top. I feel like if I can get 1/4in or so down low that will be good. I cycled the suspension straight and the liners are still there so thats a start. Ha
The short answer is yes.
They will absolutely find out it's tuned (we aren't in the 2000s anymore) even if flashed back to stock and should there be a drivetrain issue they will automatically default to blaming the tune. Most people don't know that the burden of proof is in them to prove it...
