    stock sized rims tires ?

305--the first number--is the section width of the tire. This is how wide the tire is, basically. The 40--the second number--is the aspect ratio, which refers to the sidewall height. So, the 40 means that the sidewall is 40% of 305 (the width). Hope that makes sense. I know it's explained...

    cd changer

From the research I've done, it looks like the cd changer is either made by Clarion or Alpine for the first gen Ex (depending on year, I believe). Even so, I don't think it's possible to make the unit compatible with an aftermarket HU, but I will keep doing research for you. I'm pretty...

    stock sized rims tires ?

No problem, vic. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you. I have a set of 22's on my Expedition, so let me know if you have questions. I personally have 305/40's on 22"x9.5". I have no complaints about them, but next time I change tires, I think I will go with 305/45's...

    Fog light frame ?

^^^Goodluck with the wetsanding. I tried to go that route, but I ended up making it worse :-/ I'm not saying it cannot be done, it just didn't end well for me. If you have nothing to lose (or know what you are doing), I guess it's worth a shot...

    Fog light frame ?

I wasted hours trying to restore headlights, too. I've tried every trick in the book and it was all just a waste of time/energy. I ended up just buying new lights. I'd go that route if I were you. Check ebay for cheap aftermarket replacement parts.

    stock sized rims tires ?

Stock size is either 255/70/16 or 265/70/17. What are you trying to accomplish by changing rims/tires? What style/appearance are you going for? What functionality do you need with them? What is your budget? Answer some of these questions and we can help you better. Until then, you...

    LOC For 2000 expo

http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/stereodetail/854.html ^ That link has a chart with color coding of the wiring for the stereo--it does not have the wiring for EB or the MACH audio system, though. I'd recommend getting a Haynes Manual or something similar to get a better wiring diagram...

Ugh! I think it's the rear end!

Rear differential fluid was changed recently and it didn't do anything to help the issue...Last I checked all the suspension/steering components were in good condition--some parts were replaced. I'll keep my eyes and ears open though and let you know if I come across something.

    Lowered too low?

Please don't undo that sick drop. I'm sure a lot of work went into making it sit that way. I'd kill to have that stance on my 4x4. Buy a thousand dollar beater for the snow. It'd probably be cheaper than going back to stock, too. :-p

Ugh! I think it's the rear end!

I'm sorry...I didn't completely follow what was said here...what is the issue causing this vibration? And how can it be fixed? I'm sorry, I'm just running on no sleep and just finished an exam so my brain is kinda shot right now. I'd appreciate if someone could summarize all of this more...

Ugh! I think it's the rear end!

IIRC, many 1st gen, 4x4 Expeditions are having this problem. My truck does this as well. I think it is transmission/transfer case related, even though it always does seem to come from the rear-end. I really wish we could come up with a solution for this, because I know lots of trucks have...

    Lowered too low?

That looks like more than 2" to me...Probably was more done than just adjusting the torsion bars.

Lifting my Exp... Need some advice.

I'm not the most educated on this, but in my opinion, any time you make an adjustment to the suspension, I would recommend getting a full alignment. In the long run, an alignment is much cheaper than replacing improperly worn tires or fixing any other issues that could result. Additionally...

    Lowered too low?

Well, if it's a 4x4 and its lowered, it most likely was done by adjusting the torsion bars. That being the case, it was probably only lowered 2" at most. If it was done this way, it could be readjusted, but its a PITA you wouldn't want to go through every time there is snow. Anyway, the two...

    First Mods of the spring!!

I had this same problem. I sanded it down to bare metal (use an electric sander or it will take for ever) and then just spray painted it with a couple coats of flat black paint. It was spray paint designed for grilles - rust proof/high temp. It worked excellently on the tow bar and the...

For the Audio Guys: Help Me Plan My System

Yeah, I figured the output wouldn't be all that impressive--of course better than stock, but still not to what I'm looking for. What I want is a set up better than what I currently have. I need a single 10" running on 200-600 watts rms in an under 1 cubic ft box to sound better and be louder...

For the Audio Guys: Help Me Plan My System

Thanks for the responses so far guys! I appreciate it! Bloodzero--I've been looking into those premade boxes/set ups, but I figured they were overpriced and I could do better fabricating my own and picking my own components. Have you actually heard them? Still definitely going with rear...

For the Audio Guys: Help Me Plan My System

I posted this on some car audio forums, but I figured I'd ask you guys for suggestions too... "As the title states, please help me plan my system in my daily driver. Please help me put something together that will keep me happy for as long as I own my vehicle. I’m not an audiophile by any...

here it is the 05 Kr sexpo

I love everything on the front end (lights, grilles, bullbar), the rims, and the brakes upgrade, but I'm not really feeling the back end. The altezza led's, the tribal license plate frame, and that huge exhaust out the middle is too ricey for my taste. Overall, I like it though. And I'll say...
