What a scam! That’s like my 92 Jeep Wrangler with the 15 gallon gas tank when there was a 20 gallon option. They installed a tube on the fill port that went deeper into the tank so you couldn’t pump in more than 15 gallons. Dropped the tank and cut the tube and I had the 20 gallon tank option...
Don't get me wrong, I like my paint too. I'm just not going to worry about running through the membership based car wash 3 or 4 times a week. That's another reason I buy white vehicles though... Also much cooler in the summer.
Because they are cheap and impatient? That's exactly what I did, but it cost a couple thousand extra and took them a week to find one out of state. Also, quit worrying about your paint and enjoy your ride. Do like us other first worlder's and trade it in for a new one every few years. lol
I was thinking somewhere between 5K and 6K. Think I'll go ahead and grab the VLED 5K's off Amazon, so I can return them easier if they don't look right. I'm not a fan of any blue tint to the light or yellow for that matter. Looking for white, white.
Here is a good color chart:
I'm going to try these since they come in a 5000K https://www.amazon.com/VLEDS-2pcs-120lm-5000K-White/dp/B074N8W73T/ref=sr_1_17?keywords=license+plate+led+bulb+5000k&qid=1565968180&s=gateway&sr=8-17
More options on the website. 5,000K 5,500K & 6,000K...
I bought the whole set and the reflective windshield screen. Front, middle rear combo, and both sizes for behind the second/third row depending on how it's configured. I love them and everything fits perfect. Went with black like the carpet.
Can you post a link to the LED license plate lights? Everything I’m seeing is 200+ LM per bulb. Thinking that’s going to be way to bright and might interfere with the backup camera.
Thanks for the input on the license plate lights. I’m going to look for a better pair. Don’t want something super bright just white like the other LED’s.
The new led puddle lights are awesome. Just showed the wife and she didn’t even know lights were under there previously.
Didn’t get a...
Just installed my DAYTIME BrightLites LED Puddle Light's. Mine came right out per the video. I'll post a night pic when it's dark.
Question? Has anyone installed the free license plate LED's pictured? How do they look? I noticed both of the stock incandescent bulbs point to the right. Is the...
I just confirmed it's fixed, or not present in my vehicle, running the latest build of Sync 3.0.19205 with an iPhone X on 12.1.4. I'm not jailbroken but stayed at this iOS just in case I wanted to in the future.
Here's what I did to check. After installing my Autostop Eliminator I exited the...
I haven't noticed it on my iPhone X, probably because I always keep my ringer volume at max level.
This!
Going to test later...
Update: Fixed some typos
Here is the actual 150W Converter Assy Part #:19G317 for the 4th Gen Expedition. It looks different than the one in the previous eBay link.

Not sure if this is the right part but you would need to replace the inverter/converter module as well as the plug...
All good. I figured out the info I needed. If you still want to see the hidden info you have to hold both buttons down longer. 10-20 seconds should do it with the acc power on.
Sequence. Get in truck. Hit start button without starting vehicle. Push cd eject and hold. Push right seek and hold...
I just emailed the owner of the website in the link and he said my APIM is 3.0 only. That sucks! my 9/2018 truck is already outdated. I'm guessing it goes off the H/W part number.
Check this out...

NOTE: It has been observed that some of the newer Sync 3 units (Late 2018/2019), that ship with software version 3.3+, have been changed enough that some users may experience...
CD eject and right seek. Then end speaker test. Then click on the APIM info. Should be the top soft button. I’m interested in your part number as well. Trying to see if I can install 3.3 on my end of year 2018 build model.
My info attached.
Holding cd eject and right seek will let you play around with some different settings in diagnostics mode but they will revert to default after a power cycle.
