I used a can of rustoleum black and sprayed it in place, I have also used plasti dip and sprayed it with that, since it is under the truck it doesnt have to be perfect.
I remember back in High School I always rocked the Fosgate Punch Series 1's all the time, they were always buy 1 get one free at Car Toys and being poor they did there job and did it well. They will always be one of my favorite companies.
$409 already and climbing, good thing I have been recovering from surgery for the last 3 weeks and 3 more weeks to go before driving again. I think i may find a runner car and park the expedition for a while.
So recently I saw a Black Expy on here with the matte black hood and hatch and loved it, my idea is since I love my PLAST-DIP is using than on the whole lower half of the truck, from the door bumper guards down, including all the chrome bumpers and then also doing it to the hood, so I would have...
I put a flowmaster 40 series on stock pipe and was very disappointed, so I took a hack saw and cut the exhasust out right before the muffler and put a tuen down on there. I still have the exhaust so when I have to do emmissions I will clamp it back on the take back off when I get home. I have...
For us people air ride front and back I think our only basic choice is a 3" Body lift, if you want suspesion then you will have to do the air the springs conversion then do what ever lift you desire. I think I will eventually go with just the 3" PA Bodylift. I never keep my rigs for long periods...
Use Plasti Dip, 2 cans and you will be golden. $5 bucks a can. Look at my wheels that is what I used. Gives a matte finish, but when I want a shiny look I put tire gel and then you are shiny for a while,
First you remove the upside down U shaped plastic piece over the steering coloumn, tug on it and it pops out, then on the plastic that curves above the the gauge cluster remove those screws. That will expose the cluster and then remove all the screws holding it in they are very visible to...
Also Ebay sells crystal clear foglights for our years too and they finish out the front end perfect. They are on my list to do also!
Here are what they look like, there are some cheaper and some more expensive...
Yes those are them and they are actually EBAY Lightning headlights and corners, i think I paid about $100 for them, they are not a one piece but Damn they give a clean look. I have run the Lightning Lights on all my F150's and Expeditions over the last 8 years or so.
Go with the Lightning Heads and corners, they are a nice clear lense and if you want to retro fit that would probably be the best base start for our 1st GENS. I have the Lightning Heads and corners and just run 8K Hids and love them.
How much should I expect to pay at a shop to have a body lift done to my 99 Expy with 4 corner air? I wouldnt even fathem the idea of doing it myself....TAXES are coming soon and I need tires still and thought maybe wait get the lift then get tires.
Thanks for any infornation!!!
The Buck Stop website says $1800 for these so it looks like a good deal if anyone around or in Washington is looking.

Very easy to do, I have installed several over the years, what i learned is to wrap your thumb with a towel or something soft cause bushing that big needle through over and over again kills your finger.
