    A disconnected (what seems to be) bleeder hose above left front shock

    This is just a guess, but does it connect to a vacuum line going to the front hub that will engage the hub when the esof switch is turned to 4wd? Try starting the truck and rotating the switch to 4wd and see if any vacuum pressure. Good luck. marc
