Hi,
I'm a new owner of a 2005 Ford Expedition, King Ranch edition. Got it fully inspected prior to the purchase and runs really nice.

I noticed a disconnected hose above front left shock, that just hangs around. As my mechanic haven't found where the hose should have been connected he thinks this it's a differential air bleeder for venting. No suction or air blow noted while engine's running.

Has any of you Expedition enthusiasts experienced something like this?

Thanks in advance.

This is just a guess, but does it connect to a vacuum line going to the front hub that will engage the hub when the esof switch is turned to 4wd?

Try starting the truck and rotating the switch to 4wd and see if any vacuum pressure.

Good luck.
