I think what he's trying to say is change all the fluids and check all wear items like brakes and joints. Unless you have some written log of any maintenance done, you don't know for sure. Make every thing start fresh. I would also recommend, get the plugs changed. 2nd gen are notorious for...- sgtowing

Quick 4" lift
You can do the 3/2 lift and combine it with the Rancho Quick Lift That would be about 4". There was one member on here that did that and said he didn't have problems. He was a manager at a Firestone so parts and installation wouldn't have been a big thing for him.- sgtowing
