    New T Rex Grille

That is really nice Rex. It kinda gives the expedition an Upgraded look of a navigator grill. And I mean one up on the Nav. I looked at those on ebay, but I ain't into cutting out mine and zip-tying in a new one

    Proper claying techniques....

That was a rather good write up. Just make for sure that you use the blue clay, usually the lightest kind, as like the purple, which is heavy, can scar the surface and require high speed buffing to repair it. And, don't buy the cheapest clay. Remember, you get what you pay for

    what do yall think

The only way you get away with those flames is if you have a classic blue flame 429 under the hood. The 22" thing, well, whatever floats your boat. I added a GT emblem to the back of my navigator when I added a blower.

    Window tint

20% is correct. However, to get a perfect match (which probably won't happen) you'll need to go and get it professionaly done. That quote for the front two windows may be true for cali, but you boyz iz gettin ripped! :reddevil: I see your in Baton Rouge, and I am sure its a lot cheaper than...

    Interior Mod

Do yourself a favor. Spend the extra money and get the replacement parts, not the stickers. The stickers get easily damaged and the glue sometimes fails and will peel. I have the woodgrain on my nav, but I got parts selectively from wrecked cars. Like the radio bezel, switches, and the nav...

    Replacing Door Speakers

If you take that grill off, its &$^&'ed. The door panel (assuming its the same as a 98 Nav) has a few screws and bolts. Then, you have to lift upward on it to remove it. Take the switch assembaly out for easier removal...

    A4WD light blinking

I know this is old, but if it wasn't solved, the answer is that there in an issue in the 4x4 system. Whenever that light blinks, it should be serviced immediately. A possible worst case scenario in engaugement of the 4 low system at a speed that would be detrimental to your car, and maybe your...

    '05 running like crap

I know there was a TSB on the F150 for those problems. Sucks with that issue though, its a tough one to figure out. If your gonna go with an exhaust, don't do it the crappy way. Build yourself a good exhaust. It might cost a little more, but you'll be alot happier in the long run...

4x4 ingage without turning selector switch?

If your avatar is your expy, then you have some serious mods there. I would start with the switch and vacuum lines and work my way down to the xcase.

Damn, two more hours and you could've had in enough time to replace the motor in a taurus V6!

    3rd row seat room

I have a 98 Navigator, and the back seat, well lets just say leaves some to be desired. I can fit three kids in car seats back there no prob, but I also have captain middle seats, which reduces the seating capacity. If you read the capacity stated by Lincoln, they say 8, but I say it would be...

    Steering Wheel Swap

$335 + core! Ha, you could probablt get ford to make you one for that! Silver, this is stang. If you do want to undertake this project, I bet I can find the parts for you from a junkyard, and we'll find a wiring diagram to make the controls work. I can help you out and post it all over at my...

    Switching to Synthetic Oil??

Sure there is. When you drain it, you can tell. Stick your little finger up into the hole and feel around. If you feel some sludge, it was conventional. If its smooth, it was synthetic. I own a pennzoil oil change center. I am in GA, so it wouldn't benefit me to sell you something, as...

    whats faster with/without overdrive

Overdrive simply give you another gear, which used to be fourth, then became fifth, and now on the newest cars is 6th (new navigator has a six speed automatic) You don't really hear it called overdrive in manuals, however generally its the last gear. 5th in the mustang, 6th in the vett, etc...

    Burning Oil

Its no big deal. My 98 Nav burns about 2 quarts every 3000 miles. If the previous owner of you vehicle didn't change the oil every 3K miles, then it will burn excessive oil. I don't know why, Ican't tell you why, but I see it everyday and it happens on my car as well. I have put 22000 miles...

    Spark plug/Header

You could buy a 100 mile 2003 motor on ebay for 3 grand. That guy sounds like he thinks you are a dumbass. A head replacement could be done for less than 2500 on that car, worst case scenario. You could probably get out for 1500 or so.

    What's the GAIN?

Well, its hard to estimate. Some vehicles reactly differently than others. When you say exhaust and headers, do you mean all of it or cat back and headers and what size pipe did you use? What kind of muffler? (gibson I would assume) I know it seems trivial but it is all relevant Figure, if...

    '98 5.4 Engine "Rattle"

Practically everyone makes them now. Some time ago, pennzoil released them right at the same time as valvoline, and then everyone came out with one. :troll: :shootout:
