Yea im thinking so .... i know the mud was so bad i had to drench it pretty bad with the hose to get it off... do i replace the gem or what... how xo i test it to see if thats the problem most of all where is it... my roommate said he will look at it... i heard it has to be dried out somehow...- TexasAngel34

tons of issues HELP
Ok first it started with the 4wd not engaging and the light not going off... now its the speedo working on n off... the abs light goes on n off... was told it was the solinoid on the transfer case for the 4wd switching in n out but now my air ride is not working in conjunction with everything...- TexasAngel34

New to the expedition
As far as the 4wd light staying on ... mine just had this problem...make sure there is no dirt etc on the lines go the transfer case, the vacuum hoses etc... i lifted the expy and sprayed the heck out of it... unplugged everything and did a good cleaning of dirt out of it... after that put some...- TexasAngel34

Finally figured it out... the lines were loose and mud was inside of them.. cleaned everything and putting electric wire lube on all wires... Determined mud is not friendly ...- TexasAngel34

Yea thats what the parts store thinks or the accuator ... the 4wd shift control on the transfer case... we are checking everything ... will let you know what i found out.... they say its a pretty common problem as well...- TexasAngel34

Does anyone know where the sensor or wire is that goes to the 4x4 switch that changes in into 4high and 4low... for some reason after taking it out of 4low the light wont go off... and now the spedo only goes to 20mph ... already checked the needle its not stuck All this after i played in...- TexasAngel34
