Oh man those look incredible, basically exactly what I'm imagining. What made you choose the RX350 projectors over all the other stuff out there? Also, what fogs do you have there?
Thanks. I hadnt heard of those. Just looked them up on amazon for $89. Do you have a picture of the output beam?
My lighting dream starts with some top of the line HID projectors retrofitted into factory black housing headlights. I dont want to do all the work to build them though...
I would also like to have some 50W+ round LED lights to go in the factory lower light locations and a couple more round LED...
That looks pretty good to me. It doesnt help that you took a crooked picture of the truck on what is probably an uneven surface, a driveway, to demonstrate if it is level...
Either way, it looks good and our trucks have a bit taller fenders in front, they make the front look a tiny bit higher...
Well, the width of the wheel doesnt mater when the tire is this big, the tire is the concern. Half an inch of wheel adds 0.25" on each side of the hub anyway which is minimal. It's the 12" wide tire that you have to look out for. ;)
So either way, if he and I are running the same size tire and...
Looks awesome. I bet it sounds even better too. Nice work man! :favorites37:
On a side note, I also like how you conjoined the muffler to the tailpipe instead of just a normal join. The con really tricks it into fitting better. ;):D:p :banana-mario:
Good question. Factory offset is +44mm which means the hub is +1.73 inches from the center of the wheel. Meaning that the 0mm offset wheels give me an additional 1.73" of space on the inside by moving the wheel outward. It's a bit confusing even to me so I hope that makes sense.
Yes,agreed, hopefully we get some 07'-14' guys to chime in.
One thing though, the 0mm offset doesnt move the wheel in, it moves it out. So that it is further away from suspension components and inner fender liners..
Mine is a 2010 King Ranch w/ power running boards.
If you're running 11.50 width tires on a +44mm (+1.73 inches) stock offset, doesnt it seem like the 0mm offset would more than make up for an extra 0.5" width on either side of the tire?
Plus... x12.50 wide tires are usually between 11.6"-12"...
Perfect, thanks. I can handle that. Will this also make the adjustments for tire size/ speedometer calibration or do I still need a hypertech maxenergy 2.0 type programmer tool for that?
Thats good to hear. A lower offset wheel with more backspacing will give you more space right?
I have 9" wide 0mm offset wheels and want to run 35x12.50r20 tires.
I have the Traxda 2.75"/ 2.25" spacer lift kit.
Traxda says that 2wd fits 33" tires and 4wd fits 35" tires with a 3/2 lift. I havent heard that automatic running boards cause a problem, dont they sit up higher and out of the way when you're driving?
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I think you mean the coil is over the shock and that this combo is referred to as a strut.
I believe you could also call it a coilover I guess but I think people usually reserve the term coilover for an adjustable unit with adjusters for height, rebound, damping.
Thanks for this thread! Subscribed to see more.
I would like to see if the following is possible:
enabling autofold mirrors
enabling global window open/close all 7 windows
auto relock enable
disable horn honk w/ 2 presses on fob
disable rear park assist beep
remote start
I'll probably think...
THANK YOU!!!
This is great news. Can you post a link to the video? Where do I get the Forscan?
What do I need for the conversion, can I just replace the airbags w/ coils and keep the factory shocks?
Sorry for the barrage of questions. I'm pretty excited to get the truck sorted out the way I...
Resurrecting this old thread because it is the only place on the net that I can find anything about this. I need to switch to rear coils to accommodate my leveling spacers and want to cover my bases before I get started. Has anyone ever resolved this issue?
I have a 2010 King Ranch 4x4
