What Have You Done to Your 4th Gen This Week?

Man, that looks killer! Not much done since purchasing new a few days ago. Mud flaps and a few interior goodies. After a fresh bath. Going in for front tint and clear bra in a week.

2018+ Post Pictures Thread!- Lets see those shiny new trucks!

Ya I feel like any time I've ever had this done the dealer always feeds me a line of bs so that they can overcharge for "reprogramming" new TPMS.

2018+ Post Pictures Thread!- Lets see those shiny new trucks!

I have your thread book marked, such a great looking setup. Thanks for the heads up on the center caps. I'll probably just run without. As far as TPMS they were not included, I'll have to either pick up a set or deal with the light being on all winter. I presume when you swap out every season...

2018+ Post Pictures Thread!- Lets see those shiny new trucks!

Thanks Nate, thats what I thought, I figured any set of clean 20" wheels with no tires is at minimum worth $400. I considered sticking with the 22s year round because I legitimately hate dealing with switching twice a year. For me it's about preserving the 22s just as much as it is having a...

2018+ Post Pictures Thread!- Lets see those shiny new trucks!

First bath. Also picked up winter wheels this morning, I know it's a bit premature but I couldn't pass up the deal for these things at $400 (poor guy said he had them listed for an entire month and kept getting offers of $200!)... Pay no attention to the the little rat photo bombing lol.

    Dealer for service

Okay so to the guys who don't trust the dealer and do their own work... I get all of your concerns. My question is what does this look like with trying to get warranty work in the future?

    Towing and offroading impressions

I just came out of a 2018 4runner limited for our Expedition. Don't get me wrong our 4runner was a blast and it took everything I threw at it to lol. That being said there's simply no comparison when it comes to power/towing and even luxuries. We had the top trim level 4runner and I swapped...

    Dealer for service

This is actually a great point. I may have to consider continuing to use the mechanic I specify at the yota dealer.

    Dealer for service

I used the local Toyota dealership for both my highlander/4runner prior to trading them in on the Exp. It was always a great experience imo. This being a new dealership has me on pins and needles.

    Dealer for service

LOL Oh I know, I had my flame suit ready when I started this thread LOL. That's a good point about the luxury dealer probably being a better experience. I wonder if they'd take my Expy in on service :)

    Dealer for service

Ya the warranty is my biggest concern. I to plan on buying the extended warranty at some point... too many components on these things lol. have they ever given you any grief over warranty work as you service your own? I presume you keep a neat record of all your services you perform?

    Dealer for service

How many of you use the dealer for service? I know this is a big controversially topic because some absolutely hate the dealer and refuse to let them touch their vehicles unless they have to lol. For me I'm more or less asking because I'm concerned with getting Ford to honor the warranty.

Need advice. CPO vs new. Platinum vs Limited

Thank you! The stealth is a great looking package imo and I like the black leather with the red stitching. There are other little unique touches to the interior as well. Keep in mind that the 303a does not automatically add the HD towing package like Ford's website says it does (see second...

If you're in the market for a new XLT with 202a package now looks like a good time to buy!

Need advice. CPO vs new. Platinum vs Limited

I tried so hard to negotiate on a few Platinum CPOs today and even 1 non CPO all ranging from 9k-14k miles and nobody was budging on price and giving me as much as this dealer did for my trades. To me the stealth with convenience package is just as comparable to a entry level Platinum so the...

Need advice. CPO vs new. Platinum vs Limited

Thanks! It's funny,And silver spruce was supposed to be what the dealer was getting me and I switched it to silver RIGHT before they "secured" that one, im glad that I did (not that I don't love silver spruce as well). as far as the box goes see post below, I believe it's the key holder. I'm...

Need advice. CPO vs new. Platinum vs Limited

No, I know you're right... Life doesn't always work out the way we intended it to. GAP won't be an option to my knowledge because the vehicle is damn near paid off... Infact I only financed a little to qualify for $1250 Ford incentive that comes with using their piss poor financing. I wonder if...

    Stealth Package Question

I can also confirm that 303a does NOT include HD tow package despite it saying on the website. You have to add convenience package, I literally just went through this with the dealership and had to switch which vehicle they got me from another dealer. Convenience also adds cargo management...

Need advice. CPO vs new. Platinum vs Limited

Thanks! And thanks for the heads up on the extended warranty, this is definitely something I will be purchasing in the future... Going to see how long I intend on keeping and what my mileage is /year then order before they 3/36k expires which I believe ive read that you can do. There are simply...

Need advice. CPO vs new. Platinum vs Limited

Ended up getting a silver spruce stealth edition lol. This dealer is really close to my house whereas the other places are about 40+ miles away and my wife and I would have had to load the girls in and drive separately just to get an actual appraisal on our yotas. They made the purchase very...

Need advice. CPO vs new. Platinum vs Limited

Hi all, Potential buyer, looking to consolidate our 18' 4runner and 18' Highlander to a Expedition. My wife recently acquired a company car and it just makes more sense for us to have something larger with more goodies than our 2 current vehicles. Right now we have 2 daughters, 1 of which is...
