New Owner - Couple of questions!

HI. I think we might have the same problem. Do you have a clicking noise coming from your console? Check out this thread. Blower blows but the actuator door that goes to the rear doesn't open. So, it doesn't allow any air past.

One more thing... Looks like I could get the: MOTORCRAFT Part # YH1841 From Rock Auto for only $35.79, but is it the right one?

OMG STOP the clicking..... I was at the bank drive thru today and head this clicking coming from under the console. This is on the 1998 Navigator with the rear controls on the back of the console. Is there anyway to test this actuator? Looks like lots of possible part number...

    2008 Expy CV Boot leaking

Last week I got a brand new axle from O'reillys for $62.99 + Tax with a lifetime warranty. I believe they have re-manufactured axles for $52.99. Like FordandPolaris said, it's super easy. If you can change brakes you can do this axle. You will need a 35mm socket for the nut on the end of the...

98-02 Expedition and Navigator check suspension light diy solve

Done! Light's out.... I did as Givenator described above. The hardest part was getting the plug out. After I found it in the first place. It was easiest to see laying on the hood, pointing a flashlight. I googled around to see exactly what the plug release looked like. Once I realized I...

Air Susp To Coil/Shock Lots of Questions

I just converted my 1998 Lincoln Navigator yesterday using the Monroe 90006 kit. I also purchased new Moog Lower ball joints and upper control arms, sway bar end links and caster/camber kits from Rock Auto. You could get all this for around $400 total from Rock Auto. I ended up needing two tie...

Hi, I recently acquired a 1998 Lincoln Navigator. 155000miles I got 2 transponder keys but there were no remotes... Is it safe to assume, If I order remotes I will be able to program them to the vehicle? I saw how the programming works, but I am wondering if it is possible that this...

    Serpentine Belt

Anyone else had this happen? The back of the belt looks like fabric. There is not rubber anymore. The tensioner and idler pulley both look like they have rubber residue(spots) on them. Should I try to clean up the pulley's or just throw on a new belt and not worry? Or should I get a...

1999 Navigator air suspension conversion + new parts

Wow that was quick. I'm guessing at 150k they are worn out. I figure it's very little cost to go ahead and do it while everything is apart. Do you think it's a waste to get the Moog control arms over the Dorman?

1999 Navigator air suspension conversion + new parts

Hate to reopen this old thread....but... I have a 1998 Navigator and want to do the same conversion. I'm thinking I will do the 90006 Kit and the same lower ball joints. I prefer the lower ride and don't want to have to do the torsion bar adjustment. My question is....how come all of the...
