Actually, going slow only exacerbates the problem. Heat buildup in your differentials and torque converter is the main worry with what you propose. I'll refer back to my previous comment.

Check https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNDYWSX_BKUhlufIs28zKBw guy out on YouTube. Kinda long winded. Talks out his ass a bit. But he built a very capable vehicle. He climbs under the truck in one of the vids and shows what needs to be trimmed to fit a 35" spare on a 3rd gen.

Unless you blow a tire fourwheeling. Or don't want to swap a front tire to the rear to drive on the highway.
You might want to do a little research on this one.

Just put a set of AT3Ws on the wifes Gator last week for the exact reasons stated. Plus the previous 2 sets of BFGs on my Power Stroke wore far to quickly for the use that it gets and the set we just took off of the Gator cracked on the sidewall lugs on 2 of the tires after 2yrs on the truck...
I convinced my nephews to give them a try on their obs f250 and was impressed with the lack of road noise. They've worn quite well considering it's a pair of teenage boys driving. No chunking or excessive ware over the last year. I'm planning on putting a set on the 1st gen if these Michelins...
I'm assuming you only asked the one question.

I've converted my wifes 04 Gator to an all Rancho quicklift/puck setup with no adverse effects to the steering. She just has to turn the airbag warning off when she starts the truck. YMMV.
My suggestion would be to run the truck until the airbags are full then turn it off. Turn the air...
1.28" of rain in vegas last week. Doesnt seem like much if you dont live in the desert but we only get 3-4" a year. Roads were mostly dry but where they weren't they were fucked. The north end of Black Canyon Rd is wide, graded with sweeping turns. 35 mph desert highway until we came over a rise...

Sunday afternoon my youngest and I decided to use the "Super Blood Wolf Moon" as an excuse to do some four wheeling. So we pulled out the Benchmarks and plotted a route.
We arrived in Searchlight Nv around 4:30pm and started looking for the old railroad bed (not...
Try some DEET.
If you've got some skeeter spray laying around spray it on and let sit for a few minutes. Wipe off with a rag not paper towels (ask me how I know). Repeat until clarity has been restored. Clean with denaturized alcohol. Spray with clearcoat and be amazed!
