This truck is a harsh taskmaster....if you look away from the road for more than a few seconds while BlueCruise is engaged it immediately starts reprimanding you.
Do you know where that setting is to disable the blue screen punishment....er, I mean, feature?
I started the truck, put it in reverse and all cameras were showing normally on screen; put it in drive and entire screen turned solid blue. Drove a ways, stopped, put it in reverse and all cameras were working on screen again; put it in drive and it went back to the blue screen. Stopped, turned...
I put on Nitto Recon Grapplers also, but I stayed with the factory size (285/45R22 — 32.1" O.D.). Doesn't changing the size of the tire make the speedometer inaccurate, since the wheel is turning slower for a given speed?
I think dhenderz is correct re. this problem, and I too installed the WeatherTech flaps (front and rear) and so far the problem seems to be solved.....
Did you try adjusting the lumbar adjustment in the Platinum seats? You can adjust it to fit the contour of your lower back and it makes a huge difference; I can easily get lower back pain in uncomfortable chairs, but the Platinum seats are perfectly comfortable for me.
I don't have the truck's wifi enabled (precaution against hacking), so all app communications and Sync updates are thru the truck's cellular. Remote start via app has never not worked for me (regardless or whether phone's wifi is on or off).
Just pushing the ring for a couple seconds without turning will also call up that screen; pushing for a couple seconds again returns to previous screen.
That's interesting — you're talking about the physical ring you turn to adjust volume? I had no idea it could be pushed also...I tried pushing the ring and the screen went blank just displaying date, day of week, time, and temp. Pushing again went back to previous CarPlay screen.
Have had my '22 for 4.5 months now; never any Sync problems except for occasionally won't activate CarPlay with my phone when starting and I have to use the touchscreen to engage CarPlay. Looking forward to an update with those additional volume knob functions: on the Mach-E can the volume knob...
As much as I loved my Navigators, and as gorgeous as the new ones are, it just feels a bit too pretentious for me right now for 'country living.' Except for no wood trim on the dash and doors and no head-up display, the platinum Expedition is pretty much as luxurious and amenity-filled on the...
Only had it for 4 months now, so unknown future reliability aside, I would absolutely get it again. Fantastic truck, love it. And I had 4 Navigators before this, so it's not my first truck.
I had 4 Navigators with power running boards over a 20 yr period, and I have a 10+ min. drive to and from my house on a country dirt/gravel/muddy/snowy road. I would thoroughly wash the deploying mechanisms with the hose and then spray with WD40 usually every 3-4 months, and never had a problem...
